Okay so I was playing Rohan and I had just beaten the first Sarumon invasion and was rebuilding my treasury. Until he declared another one and I was like fuck I only have 19 gold. Then I got his event that gave me 1,000 gold and I was like hell yea! And then I got it again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again and soon I was up to 15k gold so I was like fucked this spamming and cheated just by imprisoning him and ending the war. I am assuming that this event refiring every week or so is not intended. Also after a while when I managed to take all of Sarumons land I imprisoned him and got his little orb. Soon after I got an event that gave me a claim to Rohan and 2,000 dollars to do my invasion. Those are the main cliches I noticed besides a freezing thing every month but that may just be my computer so I don't know if that is an actual issue.

Okay so with that done I have some advice that you should fix. The game is way to spam friendly. During my many playthroughs I would conquer land from the bad guys and get 1,000 events saying that they are pulling out or so. This event may be fine but if you take a kingdom or duchy it gets annoying. Especially since there is nothing to do but okay! I also think you should work on Frodo's journey by a lot. Make it interactive and detailed. Right now its kinda dull and just a okay event box. It would be cool if you could choice how to get to Riverdale, if the other hobbits will accompany you, will you trust Sam or Gollum, and so forth. Well its a great mod and I love it anyway. Those are just some suggestions and such.

Weird about the Rohan money bug, it seems like if it was an issue, lots of people would have reported it before? Has anyone else seen this?

If you used cheats, then of course weird things may happen. For example maybe a piety/prestige cheat to take Isengard early? Or were you using ruler designer? Again, the mod is scripted for the "vanilla" experience of the campaign... using cheats and/or ruler designer is known to break certain events and cause weirdness.

About Frodo's quest, yes, that would be nice with more options and such! But as I've also mentioned previously, scripting the War of the Ring even just as-is was difficult enough. To go back and add more events to that story line, which may interfere with existing events, it's not something I'm going to undertake any time soon :b I'll fix bugs of course, but a major overhaul is unlikely at present. If I had to do it, I would start over again from scratch, as that would probably be easier, but it would be 10,000+ lines of code...

Messing around with Dwarves. First attempt was King Dain. Not much to say: It was fun of a sort to see armies of 50,000 and 100,000 orcs break themselves on Erebor, but actually beating them back was not really possible.

Current game is the lone Dwarf in the east. King Anar. It's currently very quiet. I am only technically a Guardian of Middle Earth. Things are happening, but they don't concern me. I just quietly fabricate and claim land from the small places that appear. I have no retinue, which makes me sad. Then again, the Avari across the water also seems sad. Only one of his kind.

Bleh. Invasion by Rhun. Lost lots of land. Oh, Sauron got his ring back also.

How odd. Mordor's blown up. Sauron's gone. But I definitely got the 'Regained his Ring' bit. Hell, we got some of the 'Everyone joins Elrond' events. How'd it happen? Did he get killed in battle somehow? I don't know.

Dale escapes from the confines of the Noldor.

Had an Orc Invasion-instantly 100% in my favour. Thanks for the 1000 gold from banishment. Lord knows yo can never have enough money. Kinda wish the Sea of Rhun counted as water.

As far as I recall, Maiar power ratings go, from most powerful to less.

Eonwë
Gothmog
Melian
Thu/Mairon/Sauron
Gandalf/Olorín

This as far as i can tell from the books should be pretty accurate, Eonwë is the Herald of Manwë/Captain-General of Aman with Gothmog being his Melkorian Counterpart.

Melian, well the fact the Doriath stood for aslong as it did speaks for itself as to her power, and lets not forget, a mere spark of her essence diluted over 30 odd generation created the Dead-Men of Dunharrow, and at over 70 generations dilution had enough power to control them still.

Gandalf is abit tricky to place given that he's been rather several nerfbatted, otherwise i believe the list to be accurate.

You forgot about Ossë. He pulled Númenor from the Sea, that is a greater showing of power than any other on the list. Eonwë is a bit iffy, because he was mainly noted as a swordsman and warrior, like Gothmog. Personally, I'd place Mairon above Gothmog. He was after all, Melkor's "main" lieutenant.

Whenever I play dwarves, Sauron gets the ring back, I don't know if it's a coincidence. Furthermore, the dwarves are able to fight back, you only have to conquer the orcs in the north and use the army of erebor when playing king Daín and if you are unsure just fight in the mountains.

Meh. If you're hoping to do anything with the Avari in the east, forget it. Quite apart from no retinue(Not my complaint), their singular castle is not only worse than even baseline, not having the Castle Town line for income, but Dorwinion wants that land. Swearing fealty won't save you-it'll just get you killed.

If there are plans to do anything there(Since Maglor is here) there needs to be some way to allow them to live, first. Because they will not. They WILL be annexed and killed off.

We'll get it fixed, but I don't think it's in the coming build (which will hopefully be released today). The best solution is probably an independent mini-kingdom for the Avari, those little dwarf provinces in HArad and Dorwinion seem to survive, so that's probably the best way to handle it. As for Avari retinues, added to my to-do list :)

As for Sauron getting hte ring back, yeah, just fixed it. The thing is he was getting 5k gold when the war started, but he used some of this to pay 2.5k to send an expedition to get Frodo via the hunt for the ring decision and that means he got it something like 75% of the time. That gold is now removed (he doesn't need it anymore, since he now has max taxes anyways) so Sauron should now be less likely to get the ring.

Could you add this culture suggestion?
Here are some Ideas for cultures:
Make Nedhandrast Ishmalogim
Make Druwaith Iaur Druadan, and rename Druwaithrim to Gwaithriurim.
Make the Dunlendings in Cardolan part of the unused Calending culture.

One question for future updates. Will we be having special artifacts that we can acquire that are not unique to specific characters?

Not counting in things like the Dwarven arkenstone and all.

Furthermore, is there any way to which to change the culture of a province you own that is not your own but not outright destroyed? Or is it down to natural progression which takes I don't know, how long...

And here's another minor fix i just made, reworked job titles, given the old file used plain vanilla coding and as such the priest council position couldnt be filled to begin with.

There's already some objects to find in Lindon. I'm pretty sure that nobody found them, as we didn't heared about them in the reviews :p
But yeah, we're planning to add more "traits-objects" in the future.

Ossë, might have pulled the Elenna-Norë from the deeps of Belegaer, but as far as i understood it, he did it by directive from on high, so i don't count that particular feat of the storm lords.

Mairon was Melkors pet "Spark"(girlgenius reference there) his mad scientist and torturer, also most likely his main Warsmith, and given his penchant for deceit may be more dangerous.

Gothmog, Lord of the Balrogs, is specifically titled as his High-Captain, was General of all his forces, slaying two of the High-Kings of the Noldor personally and in my opinion is the more powerful of the two, though not as i said the more Dangerous.

You'll need to hold Himling, and look at your decisions ;)
But you'll need to be patient, it's really hard to find something, but there's two objects there.

So, the Sword of Maedhros is one of the items.
However, after finding that (twice with two different quick run throughs with cheated gold/prestige) the option disappears in the menu  Any way that I can find the second item?

PS. I adore you lot even more now for adding in these little touches!

PSS. Did you consider just how many fan arguments there would be when you decided to run with this idea?

No, a character can find only one object. Your heir is able to find something once you're dead, but for Cirdan, it'll be more difficult ;)

PS : Thanks, that's a funny thing to do, and as you noticed certainly, it's something hard to find :p

PSS : Oh yeah. But after all, why not? The dwarves are able to go in the ruins of Nogrod and Belegost, and that's not so far. (I'll have to make something for Nogrod one day too...) It's only a little flavour, nothing else ;)
