Aragorn needs higher base Wisdom, I just booted up a game and he has a wisdom score of 3, I would think that 10 would be the minimum for him, I recall the books portaying Aragorn as rather learned in knowledge/wisdom.

He is. He's been all around the world, even into Harad and(very carefully) around Mordor, to specifically prepare for potentially being King. He was also raised and tutored in the house of Elrond. So basically his Diplomacy and Learning should be quite high.

Can I ask if you could add description for the religions, I know this is minor but it would really help. And could you lift the limitations between inter-faith marriages, Aragon son of Arathorn not being able to marry Arwen is a bit silly (sorry if there is an event for that).

Not sure how active the modder is on this, but it's a great idea. However, the only flaw I see here is focusing on the "War of the Ring". Which drastically limits the lore and playability to be fun in an immersive way.

Tolkien went to great depths portraying the world of Middle Earth through all the ages. There are past Ages where the land was much more fractured, and houses being much more like how Europe was, rather than just several large territories like you see now.

This would allow you to essentially start off small, and maybe work towards creating Rohan, or creating Mordor, etc. I just think focusing on this time frame was very limiting.

About the Merchant Republics- in the next update, whenever that happens, could you please add the Trade Practices Tech to the three MR starting provinces, as otherwise, you cannot do anything, such as building trade posts.

Also for anyone playing Pelargir Republic:

Start the game as Denethor, then transfer vassalage of the "Duke" of Pelargir to the Prince of Lebennin - otherwise he will declare war on you very quickly with the de jure casus belli. Setting that up correctly in the history/titles apparently didn't make it into the final build :eek:o

Edit: As for tech, well you can research it as normal, it just takes some time... but yes, we should probably have them start with that tech from the get-go!

Before the patch colonization was way to easy. Now it is completely impossible. Yes I said it.

- The second colonization event option text still reads the same as the first one although it should be something like "nope".
- The duke of Harlond doesn't own land.
- The colonization CB shouldn't be visible for races that never are going to be able use it (like Elves, Hobbits, etc.) -> all those counties with supposedly CBs on are horribly confusing.
- It feels kinda weird when you realise that the biggest enemies are the pirates of Umbar who just raid the Elven lands all the fucking time.
- Crown Laws for immortal people are broken: If one independence war is lost you go down one level of CA and you can't ever raise it again.
- Noldor Elves don't have (overpowered) Elven towns, Moriquendis do.
- Elven infertility trait at age 34 (what????).
- Sorry to say but you guys broke something in the character selection menu. All kinds of weird stuff happen there now.
- All Hobbit clans have presumably merged into one single culture by now but the "King" of the Shire is a Fallohide ruling over a realm with only Harfoot provinces!?
- Incapable Wilderness everywhere

Also there are like 3-4 typos on the screenshots alone.

I'll push this a bit forward in case you guys missed it because of the rant-y start. Some of the reported things are actual bugs and could be easily fixed ;)

Hmmm no. It suddenly become open elective after his death? That's it?
Weird, i'll look at it, thanks for the report!

I don't know if it happens if he dies by old age, but if he is murdered it does, it happened three times with me (I was trying to assassinate Sauron and he killed Dáin, then I loaded to see if it would happen again, then I tried another time and it also happened)

I use the Mac + Steam version, and I was wondering why the mod is taking place in Europe? Obviously a bug, anything that might help? I would really appreciate it and whatever the case thanks for the work on the mod.
