There is three rivers I think is a bit strangely placed, have you guys reworked all of them?

Its the two that cross each other in Mazovia(they seem to cross each other to far north, and they seem placed to far north west) and the one that seperates Hungary from Serbia and Bulgaria(it seems a bit far south like the one in vanilla)

I'm not sure have been reworked.
For sure if you have some ingame screenshot of the region and you can draw how it should be, we'll correct it.

Will do, btw how do you draw rivers? would make it easier if I could just correct it directly in the mod(tried earlier but when I edited a territory the only effect I got in game was a blank area:unsure:)

it turns out that its actually 4 rivers that need correcting(the biggest issue is about placement)

The Hungay related ones is:

Danube http://www.donau-info.org/donau.php?pg=0&lg=en , http://www.google.dk/imgres?imgurl=http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/f/fa/Danubemap.jpg/256px-Danubemap.jpg&imgrefurl=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Danube&h=185&w=256&sz=23&tbnid=W_aVBVJjQlzfzM:&tbnh=88&tbnw=122&prev=/search%3Fq%3DDanube%26tbm%3Disch%26tbo%3Du&zoom=1&q=Danube&docid=l3CgPgjUqlSUzM&hl=da&sa=X&ei=RHuhT7CwKszQ4QT07L3fCA&ved=0CE0Q9QEwAw&dur=482
and
Thiz http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Thiz_river.jpg

Apart from Danube going a bit far south, both river seems to be placed to far west(the distance between them is fine)Danube should turn just over Budapest but in game it turns a couple of Provinces before(and its mainly the rivers and not Budapest thats to far away from where it actually is)

Those in Poland:

Narew and Vistula (Vistula seems to be the biggest one of the two)

the editing need to take into account the synchronisation with topology.bmp and colormap, so it is a bit more difficult than just editing the rivers.bmp to be correct.

Thanks for your maps but providing screenshots will be more helpfull at first. Next, to add precision, your maps will be usefull.

we are not into a rush lol !

isn't Belgrade supposed to be upon Danube ?

It is, but Belgrade dosn't lie inside its assigned province. If you look at a map(googlemaps fx) and chek where some of the county capitals is located you will find that PI have compressed some of the provinces in the area in a really strange way(even when taking the CK2 projektion into consideration)

studies are (a bit) more important than CK !
Yes, but not as much fun

OK. seemed weird to me. I'll have to watch it more precisely.
But if the changes involve an obligatory incompatibility to vanilla province map I'm not sure we'll include it, as we want to keep this mod compatible with vanilla and with much mapmods.
If we opt to not include it, feel free to ask more info on modding the rivermap.

Then I will have to ask, how do I do it?

Btw the other changes to Danube and Tilz before it gets to Serbia should be compatible with the vanilla setup(the current is quite far off..)

Open a new thread on this please (it should interest some other people too).
I will for sure answer to it.

Have done

Have been working on those Hungarian/Croatian/Serbian/Romanian and Bulagarian river areas and im nearly done(thanks for the guide, it made it much easier), I found out that I had overcorrected the Donau turn over Budapest a bit(its a bit further west, so the vanilla province placement isn't as acurrate as I first assumed(from a vanilla compabilty point of veiw it dosen't really make any difference), I also found out that more of the rivers is in weired places(the most noticable thing is that the river Drina runs though central Bulgaria instead of Bosnian Herzegovian/Serbia:blink:), anyway many of the changes can be either directly used with vanilla or can be used with minor tweaks. Will post some screenshots tomorrow comparing the changes, and some expliantions(will hopefully make it easier if you wan't to change the rivers in the area, no sense in more people having to research this from scratch)

btw, just noticed that the Mersey(the river in Lancaster) isn't there any longer what happend to that one?

edit- nevermind just cheked the vanilla map and it isn't on that one either

Map looks great in screens, always like more details and features. Excellent work and look forward to future updates. Sadly the file is not found at download link.

Thanks.
Try this one.

Arko do you know how to get an area to look like the Bodensea?(blue but otherwise without waves or other oceanstuff), I would have thought it was the Topolegy but I can't seem to replicate it.

Btw sorry about the delay will have a explination to the possible changes to the Balkans and Hungarys rivers tomorrow

Having still water you mean ?
If the lake/sea is at a higher altitude than sea level it become become still water.

exactly, I feel that lakes otherwise easily becomes to distracting(like my little new swimming pool in Hungary..) I have tried to steal a colour, that I though was the correct one, from the bodensea but no luck yet.

for Bodensee and Lake Leman, I have elevated the land level to form a plateau/ a flat place.
Without it, rivers have to climb after living the lake...

just like the river Sio does when leaving my little lake:) So I could just raise the lake if I added it as a sea province, and then get the blue colour effect?
