2179 - Jonathan Carter is the leader of the Olympus Mons Colonization Project
2190 - The Northern Icecap is melted after a long project and creates a great sea. The Martian Governance is formed to control martian colonization
2200 - Neo-Pagans flock to the Olympus Colony
2212 - Jonathan's son Henry Carter takes command of the Olympus Mons Colony
2225 - Contact with Earth is lost, the worst is presumed. The Martian Governance looses it influence
2230 - Treaty of New Cardiff forms the United Nations of Mars.
2259 - Mars Cult is officially founded
2351 - An aggressive and xenophobic branch of the Mars Cult called the Ares Cult
2500 - The Martian Governance begins a campaign to vassalise Mars {Through Tributes}

Mars Cult: a Neo-Pagan descended cult that worships mars as the God and Planet it is prevalent around Olympus Mons
Ares Cult: This religion is a highly aggressive form of the Mars Cult. Its is followed by the nomadic tribesmen who reside east Olympus Mons. Mars Cult heresy. Its Head is a secular ruler like the Caliphate system
