Maybe make 2 versions of the Carousing event. One uses the Focus, the other triggers randomly. The random trigger has the requirement that the player does not have WoL active (like how the ambitions to raise Diplomacy/Martial/Etc only show up if you lack WoL)

That could work, in fact I think I can just make this all decisions. The could be two decision versions. One which appears with WoL enabled, and one without WoL. The WoL version will require carousing focus, while Non WoL will not require it. Both decisions would fire the same events though, so much less effort done. Anybody know if that would work? As to Anguished, there is no way I could go without a Lannister reference, I am in love with ASoIaF (or GoT for those show-watching halfbreeds). Before I go, anybody able to think of a historical situation where two wards fell in love? So far all I can think of is Romeo and Juliet, but they were just teens, not even living in the same place. Much less sharing a mentor.

EDIT: Just thought of this, should there be like a hidden homosexual trait for same sex ward-lovers? That way they aren't hated by all religious figures 'cause no one would know.
EDIT 2: Fifth page! Woot Woot!

One with and one without WoL would be for the best as the AI is utterly incapable of using focuses with even a modicum of restraint.

I know it's way too late at this point, but is it possible to turn that trait into a modifier? I am strongly against having a character's traits cluster the screen and... well, it's a neat idea anyhow. Is this compatible with CK2+?

You know, I could try making a modifier version, but it will likely be quite a bit of recoding. Consider it a maybe. As for ck2, it should be simple to make a compatible version. I will try and post on tomorrow to please everyone who may want it.

Personally, I do find modifiers to cluster way more now with WoL adding a modifier for everything (like "fountain" and "maze" with buisness focus). So I'd prefer traits actually, at least for the main traits like "virgin". Maybe make "flowered" and the like into a modifier, that might be a compromise as I feel this is more the absence of a trait rather than a trait itself.

As for CK2Plus, I already thought about making a compatible version myself. However, I would likely change some things due to personal taste, e.g. if you added tea parties (nothing against it, but I feel this is a little too much of a stretch, considering there wasn't even much tea in Europe yet IIRC). Would it be possible to gain permission to do such a thing, and release it as a submod?

Yeah, the whole trait-modifier thing has been an argument for a long time. The way I see it is if i'm bored one day, maybe i'll do it. Until then... I hope you know your modding skills ;)
For CK2plus, I would be fine with you taking charge on compatible version. And about the tea thing, I was not aware of it. Perhaps now I'll restrict it to kings and emperor levels, as it is much rarer apparently. You can change whatever it takes to make it fit in with CK2plus, although I hope I have isolated enough files to make it streamlined process for you.

Thanks!
I am rather short on free time right now, but I'll add it to my growing list of mods I "steal" and adapt to work with CK2Plus. I'll credit you of course :)

And about the tea thing: There is no rule that you can't have a fun idea implemented, and I am sure many people won't mind such a thing as this mod isn't as much about "historical correctness" as e.g. HIP is. So just add what your creativity dictates you, I was just hinting that I might scratch some things in the adapted version. Well, I have survived VIET's "cock" jokes and "baklava"-spamming events, so I guess I'm not against a little fun once in a while ;)

Letting everyone know, I'm having this thread locked up. "WHY?" You may be crying, well I understand. The Maiden Mod is going to live on, but in a different form. Not ready to announce the project just yet, but you guys will see it soon. Its been real fun you guys, and I hope you come back for more because it will be quite an Event (*Hint Hint Nudge Nudge*). Anyways, I love all of you and will see you on the flippty-flip.
