I have seen this events, just the AI needs time to build enough buildings so that the events could fire. I haven't seen an occasion when the offered money (1-2 gold) was worth the negative effects, considering the positive option with +5 prestige and +5/+10/+15/+20 piety as an alternative. I usually have to pay 5-10 or more gold to get 10 prestige or piety in events, although these events seem also modified, needing less money.

yes very low level holdings may not be worth looting, though large and great holdings can earn you vast sums of money, especially if you are a pillager.

This is by far one of the best mods I have seen for Cursader Kings so far. The only issue I am having is my save file appears to be bugged and no longer playable. While this isn't the biggest of issues I wan to try and avoid it in the future if possible. I was only using your mod (though I do have other mods installed, but I see no way that would matter). After playing for 20 years or so I found I was incapable of declaring or offering to join wars. I tried declaring both a de Jure and a religious war (playing as Denmark), both times being incapable with the message on hover over being "X: Cannot declare war without valid casus belis". I tried reloading the game, both with and without mod, niether time did it work. I started a new game and I was still getting the same error. Is there any way to fix this bug?

hmm that is strange, it must be a problem with your vanilla install if it happens when you uninstall magnate lords aswell, plus ML only changes one cassus belli, so it cant be down to that.

Perhaps try a fresh install of CK and then try your savegame again.

i am glad you enjoy the mod :)

what event is this? do you have a pic of it, it may be a vanilla problem.

Oh yeah, it should plug right in and Apg you have my full permission to molest my files and make them your own. Erm...:blink: I mean, fully edit the events if you wish to rebalance them or fix some kludgey thing I did. I highly recommend you try playing a game with it, first, because you may see a need for additional events/decisions that I don't (and we can work on those). I find right now that the in game mechanics for a prisoner plotting themselves to escape, along with bribery and ransoming, don't make it a problem viz having your dynasty locked up forever.

I love this mod and all, but I seem to be crashing all too much. I have however tracked the cause. It's one specific event. I'm not sure which event it is, but I do have the description.

"Certain provinces within the realm only harvest one crop a year. The introduction of more advanced land managment and crop rotation could greatly improve the output that the farmland gives.

Though more fertiliser, work animals and reeves would have to be invested in."

Nothing goes wrong if I pick the 1st option, but if I even put the cursor on the 2nd option, it crashes.

I'm running this with CK2+ and the CK2+/Magnate Lords patch as well so I'm crossposting it there as well.
