Portrait bug: the bloody cloth around the forehead isn't lost if the wounded trait is lost.
Edit: seems to be used for "scarred", but it seems more appropriate for "wounded".
I think something has to be done further about Basileia Rhomaion. Even with tech set equivalent to the rest of the East Roman splinters, it basically doesn't lose, ever. It walks in with >10k troops, assaults holdings, demolishes opposing forces, and dictates terms. This makes playing as any of its potential targets very frustrating.
I don't know what to do about it, though. Restrict access to CBs? Set up a complex web of marriage alliances in the surrounding statelets?
I'll look at it... but portrait_properties is very wonky anyway ( I've seen the game the Leper bandages for blind characters and the opposite as well, for absolutely no reason )
It probably has to do with the combination if it being an overbuilt province with vanilla's buildings, and having both the standard local levies and the legendary levies buildings. That makes whoever controls Constantinople a military juggernaut.
As much as my Byzantinophile side drools at this, yeah, something must be done. Maybe toning down it's starting buildings, or removing the provincial levies and bringing back the vanilla cultural troop buildings while the building overhaul is done? The latter is maybe too radical, but a lot of the imbalance right now consists on that vanilla's buildings are mixed with the provincial levies ones, giving way to gigantic levies everywhere.
I believe so, yes: activate_title = { title = xxx active = no }. This is used in a few different vanilla events, for the Hashshashin, Aztecs, and Byzantium. No examples of mercenaries (vassal or otherwise) being deactivated, but the Hashshashin are a holy order which is similar.
That's possible to do, but I guess it would only fit the Romans and their various remnants. The other vassal mercs like feel more like elite retainers than standing armies that need to be maintained and paid for.
b_sorrento, b_capri and b_castellamare are defined in both c_amalfi and c_napoli in landed_titles (I assume you just added c_amalfi, DR), and b_sorrento is prebuilt in both 1555 - Amalfi.txt and 277 - Neapolis.txt, while b_capri is prebuilt in 277 - Neapolis.txt.
