Aren't the Romano-Goths the ones that would speak the germanised Romance language though? There's a mystery here we have to unravel... How Romanized are the Vesi and how Gothic are the Gothicus?
Considering precisely that places with relatively low Roman density but later populated by distinctly Germanic peoples like the Pyrinees, Cantabria or Vasconia ended up speaking variants of Occitan, I only concluded that it was realistic to consider Romanogoths the ones that almost were Romans in every sense, and the Visigoths as the ones that retained more Germanic ascent. In my book, that meant Romanogoths=Romans with a twist, and Visigoths=Iberian Romance speakers.
Our Vesi were very romanised right from the start, it seems, just like IRL Visigoths. They are the Germanic people that spent more time within the Roman Empire, and given that the concept "Visigoths" isn't even an "ethnically genetic" term anymore in the Vth Century (Goth meaning, broadly, anyone who goes and joins the Goths or serves in the army under Alaric), I'd even go as far as saying that IRL Visigoths were not even Germanic per se, only the myth of their origin made them Germanic and Visigothis. Theodoric the Great went to great lenghts to make people believe his daughter Amalasuntha was marrying the last of the Amaling line of Gothic kings, but that was probably forgery, in a time where the Gothic language was getting lost among the Ostrogoths and when there's no record (that I know of) of Gothic being spoken among the Visigothic aristocracy.
Dumézil's latest works are precisely about the identity of Germanic cultures as, mostly, a Roman construct, or that it appeared after their contact with Rome. Another revealing aspect: the Late Roman custom of giving Germanic names to the Roman children destined for the military, while those who went to the Church or the Court would get Roman names. Anyway, I digress.
Our Visigoths are clearly not the IRL ones... since IRL they didn't have enough population to colonise as much as LI's ones have and started to slowly dissolve amongst the Hispano-Romans and further contributing into the "Castillian" melting pot... and since they were kept by Shaytana as belonging to the Central Germanic group rather than the Latin one, like the Gothicus do, we can assume they are more Germanic than Roman and that they aren't some kind of melting pot.... it's really brain-twisting
Anyway, since one of the unspoken rules of LI is that somehow magically most cultures maintained a reasonable amount of cultural identity (big examples here are the Galatians or the Lusitanians which are still in the Celtic culture group despite being surrounded by other bigger culture groups), I chose to add Gothic titles with some Roman loan words like "Reiki" or "Kaisar".
This is subject to change though, as everything.
I see.
We can work it until we get some kind of compromise. I just don't think it's remotely realistic to have Germanic speakers in a place so Romanised as Spain. The Vandals speaking some Vandal dialect is already a very long shot, since the Baetica was precisely the most heavily romanised place in the West aside from Italy and the Narbonense coastline, but I concede there, since who the heck knows what would the Vandals have done? But as far as the Visigoths are concerned, I find hard to believe, even in LI's conditions, that the Visigoths still speak Gothic. But they can be more heavily germanised than what I imagined. It can be fun to latinise Germanic titles and the like
I also think that, for gameplay reasons, Visigothic should be brought to the Latin group, since they're not supposed to be so much different from Romanogoths or even other Latin speakers in the area like Occitans, Castillians or Catalans (languages first developed under a specifically Gothic-Romance culture, by the way). But I won't ask for it, since it's Shaytana's work.

What about this?
(By the way, what's the source for these titles? I'm curious as to whether we can cook more of them)
