I believe with the religion changes, you might want to mark the first post as saying the release version isn't compatable with the latest patch.
well, technically the first post only says it's compatible with 2.1.4 :p
but yeah, I tweaked it a bit to make it a bit more obvious

A few (dumb) questions/comments.
1.Does it matter if I installed Lux Invicta before configuring the cmd prompt, or do I NEED to config cmd promt --> install mod for the memory to be allocated correctly?
2. I assume the latest version of LIBERT3 is still integrated in main mod
3. I assume the part of the Better Faces mod that causes the game to crash is still a separate download.

1) the cmd steps are a way to enlarge the available memory available to windows in general, which helps reduce the likelihood of crashing/instability/slowdowns as the mod eats up a large amount of memory
2) all LIBERT3-related works are directly incorporated into the main mod... whenever I do manage to work on the mod anyway @_@
3) ... Better Faces? If you mean the LI-BLC, it's partly-integrated in the mod (with DLC-requisite material in an optional download) - it's one of the reasons LI consumes more memory than usual.


note that the front page download is not fully compatible with CK2 2.1.6. It'd run, but CTD's will happen.
the SVN version (see the FAQs/clairvoyance corner) is updated though, but we're holding out on the release till loose ends are tied together

Am I the only one who still finds Slavonia to be a wee bit over powered? In almost all of my playthroughs I see them taking over all of Illyria quite quickly. Am I the only one this happens to?

Also, I'd just like to say thank you for all the hard work still being put into the mod! At this point I think I have more play hours on Lux Invicta than all my other mods plus vanilla combined. :D

Does the BLC module still work with the most recent patch/SVN version? I am asking this because whenever I use it I get some graphical oddities with certain characters, specifically Roman-cultured women, who will have headgear clipping into them or be completely invisible at times.

Thought so! I figured as much after I saw a bunch of missing entries in BLC's culture_00 file. I copied stuff over and fiddled with the interface/portraits text files, I'm not that well versed in modding to tell if that's all I need to do to make it work, but we'll see.

1) I was just wondering about the cmd because I downloaded the mod first, then figured out how to open the cmd and set it to 3072. Basically, I was wondering if order mattered.

I saw the 2.1.6. compatibility issues after I posted, so yes that's probably the issue. How long do guys roughly think until the SVN build is released?

I think we're waiting on Futuregary's map expansion, rather than releasing the current SVN with a temp map expansion based on the ROI map.

What's up with the SVN? My Anti-Virus is reporting on 2 threats and the Tortoise SVN just likes to crash my whole windows while downloading from the SVN.

EDIT: Disregard, a derp on my end.

Something from that not making sense mod thread that Lux could use (how come no one suggested it here first?):
If you want to make the opinion modifiers from personality traits dependent of religion, the most straight-forward way is removing them from the traits themselves, and create two triggered modifiers for each trait, for example, lustful_good and lustful_bad. Lustful_ good would give positive opinions for lustful characters of religions that consider lust as a good thing, like that "total depravity". lustful_bad would be the opposite, appliable for example to your normal christian. I hope that helps.

Ahh, but we had religion-tied, trait triggered modifiers for a while, but they take a huge hit on performance (the game has to go through all living characters and apply the modifiers according to their trigger; that's a lot of calculations). I removed them because they were too specific (there were just Buddhist and Zoroastrian ones), but we can always reintroduce them if made more generic. I'll think on that, but right now I'm occupied writing patron gods for the polytheist religions.

Has anyone tried to use Rome II's graphics for portraits, or does this fall under the cathegory of illegal?

It could be done pretty easily, but yes, it would be illegal. All the material I used for my portraits was either used with permission (this is mostly stuff from AGOT mod I've modified) or was a free licensed 3D model or image (most of the Roman and Diadokhoi era stuff)

Check Numahr's signature for the Matrix. It's literally a spreadsheet of everything you'd need to know.
