May I suggest "Hellen Hegemony" or "Hegemony of the Hellenes" instead of "Empire of the Hellenes"? Since they always intitle themselves Hegemon, it sounds more flavourful.

Also, for a hypothetical "Empire of Saxon Britain", I suggest a long-lost form of Old English idiom: Kingrike / Kingrick, or Cyngerice. It contains the old Germanic root for "rule, authority" that developed the German "Reich". I think that, in this alternate Saxon Britain, "Reik" or "Rike" can become a similar concept. Several "kingdoms" inside one single "kingrike". Thus, this empire level title would be something like "Kingrick / Kingrike of Britain".

Or Bretwalda, the Ruler of all Britain.

With the Roman dynasties, If I give a whole duchy or kingdom to a Roman, they create random counts that have the dynasties you created. I've just decided to do that. Also could you add grant independence or have sperate crusader kingdoms? I won a crusade for Frisia as SPQR and I get a title I can't get rid of, because you have to be dutch, except destroy. I just role-played (cheated) and gave the kingdom to the HRE Karlings, the closest Catholics

I recall the CK2+ mod has a decision that allows you to give a Non-dejure vassel independence, maybe that would be a nice fuction to implement.

@RedRooster81

Hehehe, I love mermaids! ;) That stuff is an entertaining read btw. :D

@Vanhal

Aye, Hegemony is the way to go. I agree going to rename it. Even in my AAR my Seleukidai called themselves Hegemons of the Hellenes hehe.

@Cesar de Quart

Yeah, having a Saxon Bretwalda is something that should be in. Also, I'm going to rework Britain sometime soon... I've mentioned it over and over in the timeline that it was on the receiving end of _massive_ Sarmatian and Dacian emigration. ;) So errrrrrr, I will refrain for now on saying what exactly that means for the future setup thereabouts. ;)

@keytool and Bad_Haggis

Hmmm, I've never coded such a decision, I would have to look into it. I guess it can be done, but given decisions are something I want to concentrate on a future version (and learn how to code them better while at it) I won't do it for now. If anyone knows how to code it and wants to help I'd greatly appreciate it if they coded it now and sent me the files though.

ALSO have you thought of adding the nickname "Megas Alexandros" or a trait added after death called Megas Alexandros, which would work like the sainting mechanic in CK+ or PatT, not sure which one. Idk how you would get it but it would have to be through some incredible feats.

Not sure what that sainting mechanic is - I don't play any other mod. :( But that is a good idea, maybe something like "Your troops acclaimed you Megas Alexandros" etc, it could be done in the future for characters that are highly succesfull in various ways.

Would the Saxon Empire in Britain not be England? i.e. the country formed when all the kingdoms of the angles are united?

That has been my approach so far, I'm thinking of maybe changing it. I will think about the particulars when I revamp Britannia. I have to see how lazy I am concerning that revamp because in an ideal world I would be adding 2 new cultures and I might just take the lazy way out and not do it.

I am going to bed but before I go, I have a hypothetical question... ;)

How would you feel about Britano-Sarmatians making an appearence in a particular part of Britain, draco banners and all... They might also have a legendary cataphract related military tradition too... :O

So do you want them implemented or should I take the lazy way out and consign them to the dustbin of (moding) history. ;)

my character just went from brave to craven to not craven in a year or two. that seems very fast, doesn't it? those were lost from the trait losing events. maybe the mtth is too low?

Shaytana - I haven't had nearly as much time to play this or CK2 as I would have liked. That is a travesty, because although I have posted nothing for some time... Well, this version is everything I have ever wanted in a game, and more. Everything you have done (and all contributors who have contributed!) has made literally the most impressive mod I have seen for quite some time, if not ever. To tone down the seriousness of that statement somewhat, I hereby award you the Blotsweyn 'I'd-hold-a-blot-for-Lux-Invicta-every-day-but-would-drop-dead-of-exhaustion' award. Since that takes too long to say, a platinum star on a field argent. Fantastic work. I promise you that when I have the time to sit down and write feedback I will, but please accept my ramblings of approval till then. ;) Again - amazing work!

@Erebos26

On holy wars -> from cb file:

AND = {
piety = 200
prestige = 180
}
OR = {
trait = zealous
trait = ambitious
}

So you need 200 piety, 180 prestige and either zealous or ambitious trait to start a holy war. (note that there's extra costs incured on war declaration - there's the standard war declaration cost for one - look at declare war 25g 40piety 50prestige)

I agree on the removal events I had addressed the ambitious and zealous removal ones (PLEASE tell me guys if you think I fixed those traits disappearing well enough) but didn't adress others I will adress the craven/brave thing today.

@Blotsweyn

Thank you! I do try to improve it every time I update sadly RL is the merciless killer of modding. :( There's SO MUCH stuff I wanna do... I wish we could buy time by the ton. :)

@keytool

Well I did give the Saxons a legendary huskarls tradition in Kent ;). The problem is that my Britannia looks different than what people expect and I'm not sure they could cope with the differences... Sarmato-British, and some Celtic-Zalmoxianism thrown in? Not to mention the results of massssssive Dacian colonization... my my... I am thinking of just keeping it in the traditional fashion rather than incur the wrath of people who want their traditional setup.

The problem is I've got some very interesting deviations in my book that people would not like I think... To give you some examples of stuff I don't think would go a well... a Gothic state in the Balkans... and even worse... a Gothic state on the Eastern Borders of the empire as a result of military resettlement there vs the Persians... Having Goths vs Armenians and Persians might not go well at all...

You're welcome - and yeah, time is a rare commodity. Rarer even then prestige, piety, and gold combined, hah. I will say that please continue with your ideas - they are very clearly thought out, and if people are shocked by them, well, that's too bad for them, isn't it? xD They will learn to love and embrace the light of the sun!.. In the end, it's your mod; and whatever you decide, we'll continue to follow.

That's a good idea. First, more diversity is always good; second, it would probably put the stop to early massive unification of Saxons under West/Eastsaexna and roflstomping everything on the B. Isles by them, which now happens in 2/3 of the games.

Next: Goths? Like, Ostrogoths? Sure! And, if Ostrogoths, maybe some Huns?

Also, there is weird thing in Spain - Abu Bakr Saburid of Badajoz, Ghazi Islamic. But Russian Veliki Knyaz?

Last thing (for now :p ) - religions:
- When somebody is converted to Angra Mainyu (while that being state religion), i see "praise Ahura Mazda" - kinda weird, but i think it's unavoidable since Angra Mainyu is Zoroastrian heresy.
- If there is blatantly evil religion, and some considered very dubious, can we get some satanism?
- Celtic Pagan and Germanic Pagan. I'm sure they wouldn't use the pejorative "pagan" term, can they be renamed just "Celtic" and "Germanic", like Norse?

- Abu Bakr of Badajoz is a Saburid (I've explained this twice before but will again because it's a nice piece of strangeness), inspired by RL strangely enough - the Slavic Sabur was the founder of that taifa state of Badajoz in our reality. Basically you've got Slavic slave-soldiers taking control -> you've got a state ruled by Slavic military now turned Muslim. So him being Russian is WAD, it's sort of a "Southern Varangian ghulams turned rulers" episode. Him being Veliki Knyaz is a localisation issue due to his culture :(

-the Angra Mainyu issue could be solved by making it its own religion, not sure if that's a good idea.
-No on Satanism...(for various reasons) the "evil" religions are Ahrimanism and Angra Mainyu for now... there's also Eosphorism which is not evil but has Lucifer(very different Lucifer though - I've explained it in thread) at its core. ;)
-Pagan is not a pejorative though, it's just a designation in my eyes... you are right though maybe I should remove that tag, I'll think about it! :D

I've updated the history timeline to 437 CE on the first page. The 5th century is a female dog in heat to explain in concise fashion but I'm trying. I already feel like I'm just flying over stuff sigh.
