I have to ask, are there any plans to make merchant republics or theocracies remotely competative any time soon? Because you've got like half their buildings locked off behind tech 8 requirements.

So, who's writing the petition?

if it's regarding the sub-forums, here's what I sent Veld around 3 weeks ago:

In fact, right now, I could think of at least 8 subthreads our mod could really use already (documentations, bug reports, submods, 3 different sub-modules, AAR indexing, and whatnot).


So in short, if you could grant us a sub-forum of our own for Lux Invicta, it would be much appreciated by both us the modders as well as the players who do play our mod.

I was hardly in a rush back then though :p

though yeah, I haven't noticed any activity from Veld anyway, so it's possible he's not an active Mod.
that, or it's a low priority matter. and my experience with customer service departments tells me that 3 weeks isn't that long yet :p

on a side note, I did a quick playtest for a bit and had a question: what's the difference between the generic loaning at 25% interest, and what I assume to be SoA-specific loaning from the Hellenes or whatnot (I don't have SoA so they're not showing up for me if they were restricted content) ?

it's always possible I made a mistake somewhere (ie. offensive being mixed up with defensive here and there), though I did check if that were the case.
still, it's worth a look.
and yeah, it's worth noting that retinues are a lot stronger, what with their morale and unit bonuses. they're kind of balanced by their tweaked initial investments/reinforcement/upkeep anyway plus the necessity of investment in buildings to get enough points anyway, so...

next in line, rebalancing some buildings (yet again :laugh:) to finally bring some closure to levy balance (at least until I playtest it)

and after that, my several-months-old-massive to-do-list:
#> added an "Increase Control Policy" ambition
#> added a "de jure duchy subjugation" CB...
#> added a couple of situational "Raise Taxes" decisions that transfer gold from your vassals in exchange for authority and opinion.

on a different note, anyone has thoughts about Jure uxuris, AI divorce, AI betrothal, released? I was thinking of probably potentially integrating it somehow sometime (yeah, I know. I keep piling up my to do list without actually reducing it first :laugh: )

I added and adapted Jure uxuris and the concubine mod myself during your leave. Right now I was working on adding the no hassles vassals one.

but yeah, I did notice you adding the concubine mod but didn't notice you adding the jure uxuris one. thanks for that xD
and if you're adding the no hassles vassles one, then that's great. I'll concentrate on others I need to work on then :3

that said, I've only obtained permission for the concubine mod and no hassles vassals so far, so I'm not adding the Pledge Mod just yet. And I'd also like to ask if you've secured permission for the jure uxuris one (then again, it's written in the OP that we can use it anyway, so I guess there's no real need to inform him directly in any case :p )

Riknap needs to send another petition to somebody first :laugh:

first off, I'll need to back-up my PM's manually first so that I can finally delete them :p
