Why exactly Tervel ? is there any particular reason behind that? Why not Krum or Asparukh maybe? o, though Tervel sound pretty good for he was the ""Saviour of Europe"" at his time :)

Hmm true wasn't Krum the guy with the skull drinking cups? or was that Tervel i forget >.>

Hmm true wasn't Krum the guy with the skull drinking cups? or was that Tervel i forget >.>

That was Krum

Nikephorus was killed, while his son Staurakios was carried to safety by the imperial bodyguard after receiving a paralyzing wound to the neck. It is said that Krum had the Emperor's skull lined with gold and used it as a drinking cup. This strategic victory secured Krum the respect of the ancient world.

but both of them are Dulo clan btw .. so no really that big of a deal .. but Krum is a little bit easier to write it as a blood line trait , same goes for Asparukh -as he is the founder of the First Bulgarian empire ...

- committed the new common/event_modifiers/SELIN_modifiers.txt
- note: the new modifiers will work only when aethel27 adds the updated common/event/SELIN_events.txt, until then they do not get activated, but do not create any bug either

@ DarkReborn: the triggered_modifiers looks nice, thanks! I have just 1 question, should we not delete all the lines with "= 0" attributes to avoid slowing down the game, or does it have no real effect?
I'll have them up on sunday, got to finish my midterm paper first :(

By reforming you change your religion, so you loose some properties and gain some others. It is up to you to remain "uncivilized" if you prefer a life of looting... As an unreformed religion, if you have a strong leader, the tribal politics modifier are quite good. However a reformed religion is overall more stable, and the difference should be clear for young, unproven rulers who will have an easier time. With the build presently publicly released, reformed religions are not really coded though, so it may not be worth it reforming at all. We are just coding in now the reformed religions.

Stay with us a bit more and everything will be more clearly documented.

Proselyte religions mostly impact attitude for conversion. Some religions don't become proselyte even when reforming anyway. You should look at the propoerties of your reformed religion to know that (in the Matrix).

Did some sloppy searching around but here are a few quotes and a link that might interest you.
Numahr said:
Conversion rates are affected by mentalities of your religion and of the target province's:
- if your religion does not have a proselyte mentality, it is not good at converting; and
- if your target has ancestral or bastion of the faith mentalities (i.e. not proselyte), they are more difficult to convert

Numahr said:
Yes, the following plan will be implemented:
- (Reformed) proselyte mentality religions have high conversion power and access to missionaries
- (Reformed) bastion of the faith mentality religions have high resistance to conversion and access to missionaries (in addition, defensive bonus)
- (Unreformed) ancestral mentality religion have high resistance to conversion

And if your brain can comprehend it have a look at SELIN´s Matrix.

Did you make it so players can't assault the holding? Because every time I try I loose soldiers and the defenders don't loose moral or men, and I don't think a healthy person dies at 18 or younger, were you trying to make sure that your healthy Heir dies, and the players crappy unhealthy child lives? because that's all I am seeing.
