i've been waiting for the first non-alpha download to be released.
But I've been reading the thread every day.
then how about this weekend then?

(or at least this month's end xD )
we'll probably have most issues sorted by then
All right so here are V3 and V3.5 (v3.5 has building sort grouping) I personally like the look and flow of V3 better and this one on it's self is pretty building sort grouped.
V3:

A note: In the program file they are grouped, I removed these for the pictures because it looked ugly.
Edit: I also like how V3 somewhat indicates that the Government branch is the core from which most buildings flow.
on a quick glance, I like what I'm seeing
except I can't comment and look at it in depth, since it's 1:30 and I need to wake up early again tomorrow (this is becoming a habit, I noticed T_T )
edit: after some cursory looking, I'll admit I kinda prefer v3 better than v3.5 since the... bus wiring-ish clump of lines just makes me get lost
besides, the design of v3 does highlight the government tree's role (granted, while I like the clustering of v3 more, the lines however....
edit2: since the dl was taking longer than I thought, I ended up noticing some details
namely, did you make the granary an education-type building?

we agreed it was eCONOMY

(though I can totally see myself making this mistake xD )
in any case, no need to fix it for this for now.
edit3: a minor suggestion before I finally go shuteye
for v3:
you could probably try adjusting the education buildings to the upper left to be slightly diagonal. that way, you could probably push the local autonomy chain slightly higher.
as well as slightly taking advantage of the upper right space
then again, in the end I can see the largest issue we'll have are the lines
I'll study your flowchart tomorrow in depth.
But for now, i have to say, it'll definitely be helpful in modding right now

(maybe not just yet as a general gameplay guide xD )
