I'm noticing something that's beginning to concern me.
Before the latest updates, I could play with almost no lag or performance problems of any kind. Now it's not the same. A lot of people complained before of this game's performance problems, which Shaytana worked greatly to minimize, and with great success. But the addition of features like the Viking pack and the likes, it's starting to be very heavy. Really heavy. I'm in 1200 and the game's almost unplayable, which is a shame.
So to all of you that say "let's bring CKPlus features on board", I'd say wait. WAIT!
If there were people complaining of performance before the latest updates, these people probably cannot play the mod now. I'm on the verge of not being able to do it.
So I'd say: either optimise the mod, or start developing two lines: a heavy one, with all your improvements and additions from Plus and other mods, and a light one, which comprises Shaytana's mod updated, either his clean version, or up until before the great addition of features (I say the Ting and the like because I don't remember which other implementations were done at the same time).
****
And the Russian Portraits pack still doesn't work. I did as you said, but the headgear and clothing is still misplaced, as if the numbers didn't match the frames.
This is kinda egoistic... So the rest of us who want new things won't be able to get them because of your opinion?I hate to do this, but I think this post has gone unseen, and it's quite an important matter, especially since Shay spent so much time trying to make the mod run smooth and all those new features, cool as they might be, are ruining the flow of the game.
Sorry for quoting myself (that's what I hate, like I said before), but I see people are proposing more and more features, and I fear that in the next update I won't be able to play Lux Invicta anymore.
It's not an opinion. If you keep adding in more stuff, then the game will slow down. If it slows down to a point where it's unplayable, then it is a serious problem that needs to be looked at.This is kinda egoistic... That last one was an actual idea before Shaytana's disappearance.Hello everyone !
I have read all the history made by Shaytana ( yes I had a lot of time to waste x) ) and I had a question about China and India : what is is the situation at the beginning of the game ( because after 200CE I think there is nothing about these countries )
Is China still divided in 3 Hellenic states ?
India united ?
And is there an "horde" of Hellens who appears in the game like the Mongols to recreate Arche Makedonia to the Atlantic (okay this last one is a bit strange I agree x) )
To my knowledge, you're the only one who has been having these slowdowns, though I agree that making a separate version that has fewer features for people who have memory issues is a good idea. It's not an opinion. If you keep adding in more stuff, then the game will slow down. If it slows down to a point where it's unplayable, then it is a serious problem that needs to be looked at.
It was Cesar who's having the problem. I was just replying to what I thought was an unnecessarily rude post.To my knowledge, you're the only one who has been having these slowdowns, though I agree that making a separate version that has fewer features for people who have memory issues is a good idea.

Only he is complaining... That's egoistic and an opinion. I know that too much stuff would make the game unplayable, but it isn't right nowIt's not an opinion. Herp Derp, I can't read.It was Cesar who's having the problem. I was just replying to what I thought was an unnecessarily rude post.
It sounds like he's a mercenary. Therefore you have to find his mercenary company and raise it like you would any other mercenary.I expect some flak for this one, as I'm sure it's a common question, I just wasn't able to find anything on it.
I like the fragmentation of this mod and the new traits are cool but I'm completely stumped on something. When I go to war with somebody, it seems like they always have like 2k-3k guys even if they're a 1 county nation. I'm all for a good fight, but when I raise my army it's like... 600-700 men. I assume this has something to do with that extra vassal I seem to have (it seems to be a vassal in charge of your military/companions, what have you). He never seems to provide me any troops, but my enemies corresponding vassal seems to always provide like 1500 men. What gives. Is there an explanation of this vassal somewhere? Is that even the cause of my problem?
