Hi, since i reinstall CK2, i cant even load the game with this mod ...
I try with others mods and everything is OK, but when I load the game with Lux Invicta, ... the game just dont load. No error message, nothing

While I don't expect that the crusader state of Jerusalem is going to be suddenly written out of the timeline, you don't really need that - take a look at Sinai, a Jewish state ruled by the house of David. You don't have Jerusalem, but with a bit of luck and the right monarch that can likely be changed.

Very roughly speaking, it's a timeline where the following processes took place:

-> Alexander the Great's son Alexander survived the assassination, and fled with his mother to Cyprus - thus his line continued even after the fall of Macedonia to the Romans
-> The Hellenic empires of the East were far more durable; Antiochos III conquered India, and his successors managed to even conquer China and invade Japan
-> The Roman Empire took a very different way, dynastic-wise; Octavian Augustus married a female scion of Alexander the Great, producing a legitimate offspring, who ascended the throne in Tiberius' place
-> Constatnine the Great has never been a full emperor; instead, he was co-emperor of the East. He still finds Constantinople, but doesn't make it capital. Yet.
-> Christianity never took root in the Empire; Constantine did convert, but with his line never taking power (instead they recieved Britannia), Sol Invictus is still strong
-> Empires divided on religious base; Rome accepted christianity, while Constantinople remained true to Sol Invictus
-> Christianity never became a significant force in Europe; instead, it fractured and divided
-> Islam had a boomstart like in our history, but it got defeated by Rome; fragmentation and splintering follows
-> Persia has been restored by Sassinids as in our history, but no strong islam = no threat to its existance
-> Britannia got subdued by Lucius Artorius. He is OTL king Arthur, but his deeds are devided between his scions (consult the blood trait for more info)
-> The Vikings have been far more influential than in OTL
-> Charlemagne's empire had a strong counterbalance in Roman Empire, so it never achieved its OTL apex; later on it dissolved into a collection of petty states. Also, the Merovingans are still kickng around
-> No christianity as unifying factor = no German unity; instead, every Germanic tribe is separate
-> Don't ask me why the world is so fractured in 1066; Shay's timeline ends at the beginning of 11th century, we have at least 30 non-described years. Same goes for the Kingdom of Jerusalem

There are some residue counties in that area, plus the whole place is de jure Judaea

@ Paker111: I think, in the present state, conversion is happening to fast, actually. Faiths that have survived centuries if not millenia get wiped out in 10 years game. There is also the issue of Heresy handling which is a bit awkward in the mod's context. So, if anything, I would recommend modding in less conversion and more ability for small religions to maintain a base.

I was thinking more about events of state religion conversion for players only, not for CP.

OK, since I'm quite busy with X-mas, university and rulers at the moment, I'm just following Numahr's footsteps - and presentng an idea for further use.

Medterranean Piracy

How would this work?
Basically, owner every province located on Mediterraenan coast would have a constant, low (but present) risk of suffering from a pirate raid. The results would vary from low (-5$, to represent a lose of a single ship) to heavy (province malus on tax income, construction cost and time and levy size, to represent the infrastructure being razed by the pirates). The chance would be affected by ruler's military, intrigue and diplomacy stats, as well as provincial improvements. Faith may also be a factor - militant religions are not consdered an easy prey, and would be rather unlikely to be targets of pirate raids. An empire controlling all of Mediterranean coast may attept to wipe the pirates once and for all.

Dealing with the pirates
Every ruler of said area (with the exception for Norse, I guess - they ARE pirates themselves) would have a decision to contact the pirate envoy with a proposition of cooperation. The terms would include:
-> A participation in loot in exchange for not attacking ruler's provinces (basic deal)
-> The pirates concentrating on ruler's enemies in exchange for a fixed sum of money (requires high diplomatc stat)
-> Threating the pirates not to attack player's holdings under the threat of retaliation (requires high military stat)

The higher the said stat, the higher chance of pirates accepting the deal. As of retaliation - it would work simillarly to MMtM mechanics, being an event chain that would require huge investment from the player, and could lead to even higher loot if successful (or great prestige hit, if failed).

I'm also thinking about other pirate-related events (like kidnapping, ransoms, waging warfare on them, provincial defences), but don't have any specified ideas yet. What do you think? Is anyone out there wanting to risk such endeavour? ;)
