You do have to be careful about abdication decisions though. It can be very easy to game them.

I've made a quick and dirty map mod adding sea provinces to the Arabian littoral. The Nile-Red Sea canal has been dredged and re-opened, in preparation for Arabian (and Indo-Hellenic) merchant republics.
Please do so then. Because father of my granddaughter is actually next in line. Also it would solve lot of problems and would be a wellcome addition i think.
Even if I do put in an abdication decision (which will probably be saddled with severe restrictions, to prevent its casual use, e.g., to prevent your granddaughter from marrying some imbecile dwarf lowborn), I'm not releasing a new version until patch 1.09 and The Republic are released.

Well, its not about demense limit, (believe me i make good use of my vassals.) It's just how little control i have over my dynasty even though i am its head and a very strong one at that. Not to mention it was hard getting to that point.
So passing down the throne would be a good way to keep fresh blood on the throne even though old mans tend to be more badass thanks to your new added decisions bro.
I've added an Uyghur culture to the New Cultures thread. IIRC the Qutlughid Khanate were Uyghurs, so perhaps we could add this new culture?
I'm having difficulty getting Lux to work with the Russian portrait pack. The clothes are displaced, same problem as Cèsar de Quart. I copied the two files from the interface folder of BLC to the interface folder of Lux, as suggested by richvh. but the problem persists. Any advice? Lux does work fine without the dlc, of course.
I'm also having this problem (I just copied the portraits.fx and other file you mentioned in an earlier post.
I'm now trying to copy all the contents of the BLCd11 folder into the Lux Invicta folder and see what happens. I'll update this post within minutes.
I will start off by saying that I just started using this mod today and I like it a great deal but I did have a question. This has probably been stated somewhere or discussed in the thread but I couldn't find it:
Does this mod increase the health of characters to a great extent? Currently, I am playing as the HRE and my character has been incapable for 20 years and is currently 77 years old. In my experience with vanilla and other mods being incapable normally means you live at most another 5 years. Is this just a very unique occasion or has the health been buffed in this mod?

It increases the health of starting characters quite a bit, after that there isn't a health boost (except 1 point for anyone with one of the blood traits.)
No other mod selected, and I tried copying the entire interface and gfx folders from BLC into Lux and this did not fix the problem either.
Rename the BLC gfx/characters/russian folder and contents from russian to oldrussian
There wasn't a russian file in either BLC or Lux, but there was a eastern_slavic_male. I changed the old_eastern_slavic_male in BLC to just eastern_slavic_male then copied and overwrote in Lux. I tried first without the two original files and then again with, but it didn't fix the problem either way.
No no, rename eastern_slavic*.* (back) to old_eastern_slavic*.* (to avoid conflicts with the DLC.) I forgot the name of the graphical_culture, but that's part of what I did to fix BLC for the Russian DLC. (Some of the eastern_slavic BLC graphics are used for Croats.)
I've renamed Alexandros-Ammon(ite) to Alexandros-Amon(ite), because Amon was the Egyptian sun god, the Ammonites were one of the rival tribes to the ancient Israelites.
