We have updated our Community Code of Conduct. Please read through the new rules for the forum that are an integral part of Paradox Interactive’s User Agreement.
If we can agree on a set of rewards for controlling the pentarchy for the religions that participate in that, I can start putting it into my revision of the schism_events.txt file.
Speak for yourself, I can't play the vanilla setting without it.
There's a lot of good ideas in CK2+, but I don't want to wholesale import CK2+ into LI.
at the very least, the decadence overhaul for muslims is one of the better features. the whole vanilla decadence system is like balancing a knife with a finger
Probably noone (from this topic) wants it. But still, there are some "better than" good ideas we might think about...
My concrete proposals:
- in triggered modifiers, a "Controls the Pentarchy" giving +0.5 monthly piety / +0.1 morale / +5 church opinion as soon as you control the pentarchy
- access to a decision "Re-unite fragmented faith" which gives:
(1) a flag to all same religious group provinces, which itself generates:
* 5-year increase of 5% of revolt risk
* possibility to convert to the controler's religion: base chance around 20% with bonii based on State Learning: +5% chance every 5 State Learning. Once a province is tested, it gets a flag never to be tested again
(2) I am not sure how concretely to give a 25-year boost in conversion through Religious advisor, but a significant boost of +5% or double would be in order
I think some more ambitions can be great isn't it ?

More ambitions and plots (there's got to be more things to plot about besides killing people, forging claims, and getting laid), more flavor events, especially culture/religion specific flavor events, and yeah, factions could use more work, though I'm going to wait until after 1.09 (and Wiz stops actively modding and starts programming for Paradox) to port over CK2+'s faction system.
I believe ability to pass down the crown would be better. You know how frustrating and annoying it is when your char lives 78 years and despite being a powerfull emperor he or she somehow can't interfere with his grand daughters marriage.

Awesome!! I really like ck2 plus and this mod and it's weird playing when you've gotten used to some of the changes, like not having to constantly stop kill plots for one

Actually, Veld gave me ownership of the first post of this thread, and the download link there should work for anyone (unless some region has blocked downloads from my ISP for some reason.)
As to uniting the Pentarch, since you aren't going to allow it to turn a heresy into a parent religion (aka Imperial Cult becoming a Mainstream Religion), it should give a piety and prestige bonus, increase resistance of the religion to conversion while increasing it's ability to convert. Potentially creating turmoil in the provinces that are not of your religion to simulate the shockwave of your seizing and holding all the holy centers.
Sure, I could put in an abdicate decision, but you still wouldn't be able to control your granddaughter's marriage partner if she isn't in your court.
