richvh said:I took it down to make room to upload a version for Darkgamma to run an error report on, it's doing odd things on my machine, and I don't know if it's the mod files (I don't think I did anything that could have caused the behavior I'm seeing) or my install (but Steam verifies it OK.) If you don't mind being a beta tester you can download http://www.citlink.net/~richvh/CK2/Lux Invicta 06e.zip and let me know if you see anything odd (messed up flags, messed up ambition icons, SPQR and Imperium Romanum not showing up (should be in Rome and Constantinople respectively), duplicate ID reports in error.log are the things I'm seeing.
So I made a new game in version 0.6d and everything ran fine except a few random CTD until around the 1300's (about 30+ hours into the playthrough). From then on I encountered lots of performance bugs like missing UI, the music would hang and the auto saving would take a very long time. Now I can't even load my most recent Lux save files anymore as it just freezes on the main screen while loading them, I have to ctrl alt del and close CK2. I've checked the cache through steam and reinstalled the mod to no avail. The problem seems to be with my save files I guess.
I'm hesitant to start another game incase the same thing happens again half way through my playthrough. Has anyone else encountered this?
Numahr, as I said, you f*cked the alpha up. Currently, it's set up as to completely ignore your icons![]()
Why are my vassals still able to declare war on each other even on medium or higher crown authority, is this intended?
Also I just had a pretty fucked up moment. My two vassals were fighting each other and the one happened to have a barony within my capital county which he had inherited. When the other vassal captured the barony he also captured all my brothers and sisters, he then blinded all of them even though they're neutral. They wern't even in the castle he took or at war with him in the first place. I wasn't allowed to imprison the guy that blinded my family either. He's so dead when I turn 16.![]()
Quick report: I've had some trouble with my family going into hiding during wars were my capital has never been under threat of being captured by enemies. This seems to have fired when my enemy started to siege provinces that I'd captured from them. There was even one instance were my ruler went into hiding, even though he was leading an army at the time.
