What colour backgrounds do the basic icons use? Try copying that colour over to the new ones.

The release link to download 0.6d comes up as not available/coudn't find it. Could someone give me a good link, or upload the new version for me?
I think that it is down due to CTD so we can only wait for the modders to encounter these problems and then re upload .Nvertheless I can only say well done to all of you that try to preseve the Light in our souls
Well, I know this may sound even more demotivating (hope it won't), but if 0.6e's going to be the last release for some time, I wouldn't mind - I'm plannning on finally starting my LI AAR and it's kinda frustrating to carry on with an AAR when you know there are newer versions of the mod you're playing, but you have stick with the old one due to compatibility issues ^^'
And one question - should I put my dynastical work on hold until the problem is solved? I'll just concentrate on SELIN then.

Ok I apologize for this :blush: I did not want to show disrepsect and I donot also know about the nature of the problem that rich wants to solve.I can only hope that we will soon have a playable version of this terrific mod
The reason is pointed out pretty explicitly on the previous page of this thread... It's really worth to at least check out what has already been said instead of jumping in and trying to be 'helpful' in such a way... 'Cause saying stuff like "I don't know what's the problem, but I'll still voice my opinion" really gets on others' nerves. :/

Yes, I have not removed the file I linked that I'm having a problem with (but apparently Darkgamma with his error-report enhanced executable does not.)
So could I help in a way? I do not pretend to be very experienced on modding but I love this mod and want sincerely to help :blush:
I kinda snuck in, and dl'd the alpha of 0.6e that you posted. So, when I start a new game and run into any weird issues-- I'll post 'em here.

Not insulting you or anything, and I'm not sure why you consider yourself a moron (from my understanding) but you should look up alpha/beta/omega personality types sometime.
Now that I'm back to work, I find that I have a version on my work computer that loads without the problems I was observing on my laptop. Now I'll need to get that version of the mod onto my laptop and see if it runs normally, or if my install of CK2 got damaged in a way that Steam verify doesn't pick up (leading candidate for the cause, if so, is having installed A Game of Dwarves last week.)
