Richard VanHouten, ye of much modding knowledge: is it possible to assign disinheritance to certain traits? For example, I think that totally 'inbred' (representing severe deformities) characters ought to be skipped in the line of succession, as could celibate characters perhaps (though not necessarily).
Anyway, I remember reading that blinded characters are disinherited in the Byzantine Empire (is that correct?) but I can't imagine this applies across the board, and indeed a number of Western characters were given this trait in the 1.08 patch, so I presume the 'blinding = yes' modifier just adds the eye graphics.
How much do you know about this process, and can specific traits be made to disinherit people with said trait? In modding terms (such as in LI, with its much more open concepts) it would be useful I'm sure, and may already exist. I also like the idea of making 'incapable' characters passed over (suggesting they are as good as dead anyway), and possibly even making 'inbred' characters require a regent as well. Perhaps something to consider here?
Thanks in advance.
