Details:

I've reduced the size of the mercenary companies by ~75% and reduced their cost by ~50%.

So for example, the old companies that gave 1500 troops for 60 gold/6 gold per month maint now give roughly 400 troops for 30 gold/3 gold per month maint.

This should have the twin effects of making mercs more available to cash-strapped AIs while reducing their dominance of the battlefield. I find too many wars are strictly decided by the cheapest of mercenaries. Now, they can tip the scales but not utterly dominate.

I didn't make it an actual honest-to-goodness mod because it modifies files that are very commonly modded by other mods. :) Your best bet is to paste the text into the files yourself but I'll make a mod out of it and post it though.
