A mod that smooths the transition between day and night. (As of now, it's a line which makes no sense at all.)
Think about it. It doesn't just go from bright daylight to dark nightime in an instant. The sun sets and rises. Making it fade in and out a little more would make it more realistic, and potentially less distracting for those who complain about it.How does it not make sense?
I think it would be rather hard to simulate perfectly. For example during the summer in Finland the sun doesn't set at all and during autumn, early spring and winter the sun sets roughly in that hour interval in which the game clock runs and the weather (and the amount of snow during the winter) effects highly to amount of light. It would add so much simulation that it could make the game unplayable.. but the idea you threw is greatThink about it. It doesn't just go from bright daylight to dark nightime in an instant. I see. Those are some good points. Although, it still would be less distracting to players, you can't deny that.I think it would be rather hard to simulate perfectly. No I can't and I liked your idea. I just think it's very hard to implement.I see. Those are some good points. Although, it still would be less distracting to players, you can't deny that.
