I'm already working on the very basics for now, name lists, temporary portraits etc.
But the real goal will be a pre-scripted/Pre-set race to select with proper traits and rules (Human vassals live on the planet while the Abh rule in space. Using special traits/edicts to allow the Abh to rule from space while letting human vassals control the planets without resorting to slavery.
The Main reason for this thread at this stage is to gather interest and see who else would like to work on such a project.
There are many decisions to be made, like naming schemes and whether to use English or romanised Baronh and when and how(The tokyopop translations seem to differ from fan translations and katakana in the original books). Balancing of Abh traits (Superior space warfare, terrible ground warfare, preference for orbital strikes). And how to go about actually creating Lakfakalle.
I would love to get an illustrator on-board to allow customisable Abh race with proper uniforms for the Emporer/Empress, Admirals, traders/scientists etc.
A dream would be to add actual Abh ship models to the game but I feel that's more of an end-goal after everything else is done, along with maybe creating 3D models of Lakfakalle etc.
So there's room for everyone, just let me know.
