Description:
This mod aims at flavorful, but comprehensible, titles for most of the vanilla cultures such as Boyars and Grand Boyars for the russians, Petty Kings and Overkings for the irish or a Negus for the ethiopians. The time span aimed at for titles is generally in the early middle ages but some exceptions can be made.

With the mod now released, I ask only that you give me your opinion, suggestions, and post if you see any errors!

I see that you have not yet added some cultures. Besides, more entries can be localized - like temple holdings (temple_barony, temple_county etc.)

For example, I use Lavra for localisation of russian temple baronies.

@rednif tap
Forgot about those entries, thanks! And what cultures have I forgotten? I wrote down all those listed in the ruler designer.

@al3xytp
That would be great! I did a basic write down of what I found most interesting but I would love to get your opinion. I believe it is possible to leave a commentary by right clicking on a cell and clicking on insert commentary, just leave your suggestions that way, but remember, I am not looking for the actual french translations of the titles (except for emperor tier and minor titles), but for flavorful english translations of the actual french titles. But of course an exception can be made when the actual translation fits well with English, like Jarl or Thane.

My bad, I didn't see the tabs at the first glance :)

I would recommend two things - the first is freezing the first row and first column of the spreadsheet to make navigation easy; the second is marking the completed entries with bold, to see which areas need attention.

You will also have to fill more entries for localisation: each title needs foa (form of address), e.g. city_duke_foa_russian. Then you will need 'holding of' for each type of holding - e. g. city_duchy_of_russian. Plus, perhaps you will want family palaces, so I would recommend looking at vanilla localisation:

PALACE_NAME;$DYNASTY$ Palace;Palais de $DYNASTY$;$DYNASTY$-Palast;;Palacio de $DYNASTY$;;;;;;;;;x
family_palace;Palace;Palais;Palast;;Palacio;;;;;;;;;x
family_palace_baron;Patrician;Patricien;Patrizier;;Patricio;;;;;;;;;x
family_palace_baron_female;Lady;Dame;Lady;;Seсora;;;;;;;;;x
family_palace_barony_of;Palace of;Palais de;Palast von;;Palacio de;;;;;;;;;x
family_palace_baron_foa;Sir;Sire;Sir;;Seсor;;;;;;;;;x

In addition to cultural titles, you may also want to add religious localisation - for more flexibility. For example, religious holdings should probably be defined holder's religion, not by culture.

Princes are possible, Crown Princes not as far as I know. For instance:

Code:
title_prince_georgian;Tavadi;Tavadi;Tavadi;;Tavadi;;;;;;;;;x

Also, feel free to use the flavor titles in my VIET mod, I've got quite a number in my Core module (though not as many or as insanely comprehensive as SWMH). You can go to the main thread in my signature to see the list of titles alongside my other features, so feel free to take what you want (note that the feature list is a tad out of date, but almost all the titles I have are included).

I thought about that, but decided against it since it happened almost 200 years after the game's time-frame and happened under special circonstances. But I am planning to work on more precise regional mods after this one, so it might make the cut then.

But any better exemple for the game time? The same issue do you have with Reichspräsident for Germany. It's 400 years later. After the Grimm dictionary the term Präsident came in the German language in the 16th century... So it's absolutly wrong. I would change it to Reichskanzler. Kanzler was already used at this time. Archchancellor had a little bit another meaning... But it's better then any Präsident at this time.

And change Kaiserinwitwe to Kaiserinmutter. A witwe is a widow.

And your translation of Court Jester and Court Dwarf is wrong. Court isn't Gericht in German. Gericht is only the juristical Court. The noble cout is Hof. Gericht Hofnarr would be Court Court Jester. Hofnarr and Hofzwerg would be right.

Other points:
Master of the Horse would be "Pferdemeister" or "Meister der Pferde". But a better choice would be Stallmeister. Master of the Hunt would be "Jägermeister". The "master of the hounds" would be in the modern language "Pikör" from the french. I don't now a historical term for it. "Hundemeister" eventually. Hohe Almhofer for High Almoner is absolutly wrong. "Großalmosenier" would be right. (In french it should be "Grand aumônier"). Hüter der Schwäne would sound better as "Schwanenhüter"

The time span I am aiming at is mostly the early middle ages. A huge thanks for those suggestions, I am having alot of troubles with the translated minor titles so any suggestion is welcomed. As for the german republican titles, you are absolutely right and I will change them right away.

Edit: Is anybody aware if it is possible to localise consort titles for other people than kings?
