Hello, I'm currently trying to make a mod to allow existing techs the ability to construct robots for spiritualist governments (just for the spiritualist iteration of the ethic), and I was wondering if it was possible to modify existing techs instead of creating a new one for the same purpose? I would also like to modify the materialist ethic as a whole, so that when my empire gains access to Technological Ascendancy perk, my technologist faction gets an attraction bonus, and since that's not enought for me I was also thinking about throwing in an attraction bonus for researching Sentient AI, which would make a lot of sense to me because currently, there is no easy way to shift from an empire that is spiritualist to one that is materialist. It would create a lot of dynamism in your empire having two opposing factions fighting for control of the government.
