Hard to say. Map and histories are mostly done. Events and systems require a lot of work.

It's hard to say...
I just joined the team recently, and it IS actually "playable" right now. The lands are set up, the cultures are there, many portraits are there, and a lot of custom traits and such.
What's needed are a lot of gameplay and flavor stuff, plus a pretty large work in adding the new charlemagne features where appropriate.
If we had a team of 4-5 people working 8 hours a day I'd say "a week or three"![]()
With an all-volunteer effort like this, however, and many of us also working on other modding projects... it's hard to say
I've had to spend much of my modding time lately getting my own Birthright mod up to CM standards/compatibility, but I'll get back to working on Warhammer stuff soon of course.

I didnt look at the whole topic because it is quite big... but i have a question... Will be, my favourites, playable? (that is Skavens). Oh my if it only was CK1 (or EU2, HoI1, HoI2) i could easily help with events... I totally cannot understand new event scripting system. Remains for me to keep fingers crossed for you and your grand project... FOR THE HORNED RAT!! ;P
'Revolt', with the ability for players to play in RC?Skaven won't be playable in the first release, and it hard to say for certain if they ever will be. The Underempire is particularly hard to represent in CKII without serious hacks and compromises. I'd like to have them playable but I want to make sure they're done right.

I think Malal may be a heresy for the chaos religion. Not 100% sure though and I'm away from my files.
NPCs would be revolt like events, "An army of hideous ratmen has appeared from the sewers in (county)", and then a stack of X skaven units led by Y appears in (county) and a war begins. Of course a player can create a skaven character anywhere.
Well having Malal be in the files but not atually in-game would certainly be a faithfull representation. :laugh:
Malal could be a nice factor for breaking chaos blobs and doing to them what they do to Empire![]()
Malal must have a place as a heresy if there's a chaos undivided religion.
