Figured the mark of chaos would be through the event chain, either the gods support you or..........well you can probably think of all the !FUN! they can do to someone that claiming to champion that they don't like..

That could maybe work. I'll maybe mock out the events in our design docs and see where they go.

Hello, I have quite literally just learned about this mod and it looks really fun. Is there a link to the latest version of this, and are there any plans for a Warhammer 40K mod?

Well you'll need to sacrifice 8 virgins to Tzeentch, who will then open a portal to the future where you can get a link to the latest version. :p

Seriously though, mod isn't done yet. We will release when it's ready.

As for 40k, There was a thread a few weeks back discussing the possibility. I personally don't think CK2 would be a good fit, but a HoI4 40k mod would be amazing.

FOOL!!!! YOU KNOW NOT THE WORKING OF THE TRUE GODS!!!! You create a plot that ends with every participater but you dead, to please Tzeentch, then have an orgy of a hundred people, to please slaanesh, Kill 100 people and drain their blood additionally you could kill 50 people while listening to his band's songs, to please khorne, then you must spread ebola to........no to soon. to please papa nurgle you must either get your sister sick or eat Ind food for a week straight.......note this may take 7 kills off for khorne, and 14 if you are listening to his music. THEN they create a portal to the future.......although they may turn you into a chaos spawn and laugh their asses off.

The above is me being serious.

CK2 is a worst fit for 40k as it in mormon side of the family reunion.......ugh those are BORING as sin.

Just popped into my mind, will Halflings and Ogres suck at defending in a siege?
Don't ogres have leadbelchers and those rhinox scraplaunchers?

Also, any plans for the Lizardmen and Druchii?
I suppose that in that sense, the Lizardmen would be easier to do due to them also sitting in Albion and the Southlands.
Speaking of albion, I don't see it on any of the screenshots.

There was a map earlier that showed all of the world that would eventually included (playable) and DE and LM were included.
Also really Lizerdmen in Albion.......that's new (old).
Again earlier I think they said they probably wouldn't include do to the fact it's sealed off and only accessible under extreme conditions.

I bet you only have a few spikes on your armor.

Ulthuan, Naggorath, and parts of Lustria are already made on the map with baronies and everything, they are just not populated with characters or have any special gameplay mechanics/events.

So in the version we are working on, those are excluded, but they could in theory be added quite quickly once we are done with the Old World stuff.

Well, maybe for the Xho'za'khanx, but the Itza'tli got a portal to Lustria, iirc.

Anyhow, it could be included as wasteland if the mood strikes.

As for my armour, go count the spikes yourself.

Yep, Ulthuan, Naggorath, and Lustria are planned for later releases. There's enough work to do without having special mechanics for elves and lizardmen.

Albion is locked by the mists for most of the period of the mod, and no knew about it, so it doesn't really make sense for it to be on the map. I do believe there's an Albion shaped impassable sea zone though. ;)

Yeah, Tzeentchian cultists granting claims wouldn't be too odd. The only issue is a general one for cultists, that is that none of these plots should be dead give away there is a cultist in your court/realm. Seeing some events or so,e events more often should maybe make you suspicious, but it should never be a 100% sure thing.

True. I did not think about the secret nature of such events. So I've been thinkink about something a little bit different:

What about a "twist of fate" kind of plot ? The idea is that the plot would trigger a seemingly normal life changing event for a character. Big decision such as becoming chaste, joining a holy order or becoming a monk, embracing a new religion, an heresy etc... I have no idea how modding work exactly but I assume theses kind of event would be easier to disguise as normal ones instead of granting claims out of nowhere. This plot should be easier to achive than a straight assassination plot (or else why bother using it), but also contain a fair bit of random element because you can never be too sure of anything with the Changer of Ways.

This would give Tzeentch cultist interesting ways of shaking the relations within a stable realm (nothing more boring than being vassal under strong, stable, high CA liege) before moving on to more serious plots/factions. What do you think ?

Hmm... that could maybe work. However, even getting a claim isn't completely untenable. If we made a MTTH event gives you a claim on neighboring province (think "border tensions" in EUIV), we could have the plot do the same thing. Basically there has to be non plot way for every chaos plot to happen, which if we're adding new effect just means we need a MTTH version of the plot as well.
