What kind of mods are you looking forward to the most? Mine would be more unique focus trees, WW1 and Cold War mods and flavour mods for the British Empire.

The BlackICE mod is my favorite in HoI 3 so I'd love to see it in HOI 4 as well. Maybe some flavor mods for Yugoslavia (focusing on the internal struggle during the war), Kaiserreich and an early Cold War mod would be awesome as well.

I would be cautious about starting an ambitious mod until we have a better idea of what features will be changed or added by DLC's.

I'd like to see a mod that goes through and removes some of the abstraction that will be in the game and just adds more depth of detail. IE weapon, plane, and ship types.

Um, nobody has the ability to see into the future and predict what features and changes will take place even after the release. CK2 is still evolving years after it's release.

For me, BlackICE-type mod is a definite. I wouldn't mind having different styles for unit counters and old(ish) map graphics.

The BlackICE team said they would move to HOI4 if they are happy with the product and modding tools. This makes me very excited since they are great and their take on how the game should be played makes it challenging and extremely FUN.

Well, as far as Yugoslavia goes, you will get it
I will port my mod as best as I can to HOI4 when it comes out. And with a new Civil War mechanic I think I can mod it a bit better than for HOI3.- 1
I was just speaking for myself. I do not want to spend 1000 hours working on a mod to have it rendered irrelevant by an expansion. Mods built for FTM did not work with TFH and had to be rebuilt. I, myself, am going to be cautious about when and if I am going to devote my time to develop an ambitious mod. I don't want to waste my time. If you have more free time, good for you.

A mod which adds the typhus map and better provinces/states. After that I have some ideas for extreme alt-history scenarios.

I always wanted a real flavor mod for Yugoslavia just so I can recreate some of the epic struggles during the war and with HOI 4, maybe go ahistorical just to see the outcome Anyway, good luck with the mod I'll be following it closely 
Cold war would be nice. i wanne play from 1936 to the end of the world has to worrk with a japanese/german victory too. black ice was too scriplted for my taste in hoi3. i didnt really need to have every führers headquarter.
