The odds of it happening anytime soon are slim, I understand this. When can we hope to see mods and/or console commands appear in Stellaris console edition? I've played the game since release and wait for each update hoping for the same thing everytime. Being able to make my own experience in Stellaris was amazingly perfect on PC and I wish to have the same experience on consoles.

Paradox has said they want to look into mods for console edition, but they wanted to get it caught up with pc

It all comes down to how fast Tantalus can port the next dlcs and the patches

Understood, while that is great news, it still feels like nothing will be said on it or about it for a long while. These guys are awesome regardless and I Know they'll make great stuff but aahhhhhhhhhhh I miss my mods.

How much more do we have until console is caught up? Honestly, if it wasn't for my PC being to expensive to repair or replace I'd keep Stellaris on PC. However, I love the UI set up for the consoles version.

At the moment console edition is on patch 2.8.1 (PC wise) and just got the Necroids DLC

Barring the Aquatics DLC hitting PC on the 22nd of this month, console is missing the Nemesis DLC and obviously the various patches that have since hit (PC is on like patch 3.2 or something)

so we aren't super behind like we used to be, Tantalus did work getting console edition caught up pretty fast for only have like 30 people at the company

Yep, especially since PC were getting Federations when we were being bumped up to 2.2

It's been a journey senators
