Actually nah, very few influences from the Volsunga saga if at all will make it in. Of the Norse mythos, I'll probably only draw from the Völuspáin and the Þrymskviðan. Most of the mythology is drawn from Zurvanism, tho.

As we all know, clowns are one of the deadliest creatures known to man. They are the true masters of the food chain, between ninjas and pirates. Every major government that have ever existed used them in one form or another, often as soldiers and assassins, but they are better described as butchers and killers because of their sadistic lust for blood and the cruel methods they historically used to achieve victory.

In fact, I've read about one case in which one of the clowns who fought in WW1 went loony around some town in the state of Maine and went on a massacre that lasted for decades. You don't want to know how many kids he killed and terrorized before he was finally stopped.

Fortunately, true clowns are rare nowadays, since any usage of clowns in any modern warfare would be considered in direct violation of the Geneva Convention and their actions would be considered a war crime by every nation in the world. However, after the 90s, it is now widely known amongst scholars that the US Government's main plan in the event of an alien invasion was to gather all the clowns they could find, equip them with rubber chickens and giant mallets, and point them straight at the alien invaders. Let's hope such a scenario will never happen. It's terrible plan, but sometimes, it is necessary to commit an act of evil to save the greater good.

Nah, the only reason why I'm suspicious of him is that his tumblr is still functioning. So, it could just be that he goes to an internet café or uses a friends computer, although a simple "I am alive" would be nice.
