Download Erebos (0.1.2a) [INCOMPATIBLE]

What is this?

Erebos is a total conversion mod I have been working on for some time. It's set in a dark fantasy version of our world, a place where magic is very much a thing that is real. Blood and magic are tightly intertwined, where one is, to its core, dependent fully on the other. Empires rose and fell, their feet planted firmly in magic, their graves made of it as well.

When will the mod be playable?

Well, I hope that by Christmas I'll be able to bring a somewhat acceptable experience playing the mod. It's already released, though, so check the index for links. As for enjoyability of the mod, that might take quite a while!

What are the planned features of the mod?

I'll refer you to the index on that ;)

I thank...

DeviantArt's amazing ~Fault-Classic, for the beautiful pixel art featured in my banner.
Paradoxplaza's brilliant ash001, who brought me into modding and pixel art (and whose mod, F&F, I took the liberty of plundering for stuff :eek:o)
Paradoxplaza's awesome cybrxkhan, who gave permission to include his CPR mod into Erebos.
Paradoxplaza's sleek Futuregary and riknap as they're just splendid chums.

Except magic.
Magic is a thing that is real

Here's another pic that doesn't show any premise of any mod that doesn't exist. Warning: NSFS - not safe for sanity

No coffee. No cold.
Well, it's cold if you're dead and tossed in the river, but that's not a smart thing to do really, tossing dead people in the river, who knows who'll get their hands on the corpses
The non-existing, bloody DeceptiBonk mod, now with Byzantine succession?
Don't put that much faith in Riknap, he's a fickle beast

Magic Muggle Kingdoms: CKII Edition?
Well, this magic takes after a different trope - it's not about talent, it's about what you bleed
Oh, a Blood Magic Mod? Interesting! What universe? :p
Yep, blood magic! Lots of gruesome blood magic!
And, this time it's my own thing - it's a world I've been developing for the better part of a year
Well, let's not delude ourselves that much further - this thing is actually a mod; it being a mod is a thing that is real, as is its reality

Some screenshots:

This is actually a startup event that lets you choose your blood hue from two different choices. The AI is now set to always go for red blood, but you, the player, can go with bronze as well. Bronze blood is one step above red blood, but it's still rock-bottom on the slider

This is the description behind the bronzeblooded trait. Gives a bit of backstory you can kind-of piece together as well.

what's the point of the spoiler if we could see it in the attachments :p
