would adding to status_of_women_3:

set_women_can_take_consorts = yes
set_men_can_take_consorts = yes

under

set_allow_feminism = yes
set_allow_gender_laws = yes

allow women to take concubines under full equality when for example you are zoroastrian?
Those 2 commands affect the entire religion and thus aren't law commands.

If im not mistaken succession have become moddable and therefor I'd like to make a suggestion for the Elective succession.

My problem with it is that anyone can become the next ruler, wich often was not the case. The candidates that were selected were often decendant of a previous king, mostly sons of one and on rare occations sons of a daughter of a previous king. I would then suggest that claimates and sons of a king are only candidates for elective succession.

That isn't always the case though, the Godwins weren't of royal birth or descent, Harold gained the throne through his family's pre-eminent position as powerful lords in the South of England. If only royals could inherit then the Witenagemot would have initially chosen Edgar Ætheling over Harold.

So then how about a middle ground...only descendants of a prior king and claimants with a minimum amount of prestige would be eligible in feudal elective. How much prestige would be the minimum for eligibility maybe depends on the level of the title which is open for election?

When I mention claimates I also do mean those who also fabricate claims as well. Harold Godwinsson made claims that on his death bed Edward named him successior, a fabrication likely, but still made him a potential successior when they elected king since he had "claims".

Just an observance, but the Pope seems to be giving out a bit too many excommunications for my liking in the current EMF. Nearly every King of England and France has been excommunicated, leading to countless excommunication wars going on at once all the time. Not sure if related, but I remember the Pope being far too eager to excommunicate in the initial vanilla HF release.

Vanilla behavior. We haven't yet modded anything related to religious head diplomacy.

A modest proposal:
(1) Double piety cost of asking for excommunication
(2) You should only be able to ask for excommunication if you're zealous, and only declare an excommunication war on your liege if you're zealous.
(3) If a ruler has Free Investiture, losing an excommunication war should change that law and remove excommunication; no abdication unless particularly impious.
(4) Lieges that have Free Investiture should have vassals flocking to join war and defend them, if they're in an excommunication war.
(5) Targets of an excommunication war should have a flag blocking them from further declarations for 3 years or something. Either join the first war, or stay out of it.
(6) Winning an excommunication war should lift excommunication. You need to ask for a new one, if you want to start a new one.
Dunno how many of those are feasible. Papally-sanctioned Invasions should probably see vassals similarly defending their liege, though the AI does not spam invasions nearly as much, and player game-i-ness is mostly a roleplay decision, there. (I'd personally be fine with 0 change to invasion-grant/invasion-war logic, but only because 1018 Karling Burgundy is one of my favorite starts.)

Do the spawned conquerors have a set religion or can it be dynamic based on the religion of the area they spawn in? I had a Ismaili Timur spawn in a 100% Orthodox-converted Persia and central Asia and while I know it's still plausible it seems a little strange.

This is my absolute favorite mod for ck2. Thank you for all the work you have done to make ck2 wonderful.
However, a recent change to Kingdoms with Elective Monarchy amazes me. To turn every count to not just electors, but also selectable candidates leads to ahistorical outcomes if you look at Scandinavia. Originally the Danish monarchy was elective, but in practice the eldest son of the reigning monarch was elected. Thats why house of Estrid could stay in power through the CKII timeline. Norway became elective in the twelfth and thirteenth centuries. Candidates had to be of royal blood, but the kingship was elected by a council of noblemen. Finally we have Sweden were the Kings of Sweden were elected by all free men at the Mora Thing, but Swedes traditionally elected a king from a favored dynasty and not some obscure Count from wilderness.
I do hope this will be reworked in the next patch. With the current succession laws in game I would change Denmark to Primogeniture, Norway to Tanistry and Sweden should stay Feudal elective.

(please excuse my English, it's a second language for me)

Actually in Norway it was primogeniture that came in the twelfth century, it change into a elective monarcy as the dynasti of Sverre died out and it came to the nobles to select new kings and joined unions with Sweden and later Denmark. Before the primogeniture in Norway they elected monarchs who was dencendant of a previous monarch, rarely they chose men of dencendant of daughters of kings but it happen when they chose Magnus Erlingsson and Inge Bårdsson.

When you are a non-pagan nomad you don't have access to the county conquest CB really limiting your options since you can't fabricate claims. In vanilla you would at least still have it against other nomads and tribals which i think works better. Was the change here intentional?

The County Conquest CB is intentionally limited to pagans, nomads don't factor into the equation.

In vanilla you would at least still have it against other nomads and tribals which i think works better. Was the change here intentional?
TMK, which is pretty good, non-pagan nomads do not have a county conquest CB against tribals in vanilla either. For the most part, all vanilla nomad CBs are mostly unmodified in EMF (a few fixed to actually to be WAD, but that's it).

You *do* have the 'nomad_dispute' CB, however. It can be used by nomads against other nomads to conquer 'counties' that are empty grazing land (must not have any settlements in them). The attacker and defender must be in the same realm and have a blood feud with each other. Completely vanilla requirements.

Since EMF has the LATB (Leave A Tribe Behind) province religion & culture preservation mechanic, a lot of nomadic counties do have a tribal settlement in them (any for which the holding nomad's culture or religion doesn't match the proper province culture & religion), which further reduces the odds of this CB coming up.

I have a suggestion, which I made in the Discord a long while ago, but that hasn't been incorporated. My idea is this: Change the "No Extra CB Cooldowns" game rule which defaults to Off into an Extra CB Cooldowns rule that defaults to On. It's an awkward double negative that is totally unnecessary. To prove it, I changed the game_rules.txt and 1_emf_game_rules.csv files myself to illustrate this clearer version: (Steam screenshots because F11 doesn't work on the game rules screen before starting the game)

It seems like the "lower Imperial Decay" button does way more than create a situation where "not all of [your subjects] will be happy" - I got a -30 Tyranny opinion modifier for 30 years! I have no issue with the balance, here, but I think localization should reflect that it can absolutely wreck your HRE/ERE succession plans.

Yes, that does make more sense. I will try to make this change at some point soon.

If a feudal kingdom's entire army is destroyed, how long on average will it take for it to restore its levies to full strength?
The base levy reinforcement rate of a holding is 2.5%/month IIRC.
