Dont mean to rush or anything , but practically wouldn't it be easier to release a hotfix for the newest patch while you work on the update.Then implement it later down the road so less people will be hammering at your gates for a release?Or is it too complicated to hotfix?

There were a lot of unexpected modding changes from 1.103 to 1.11, unfortunately it wouldn't be as simple as that. Also, I figure they want it polished and not some halfbaked thing.

Nah, 1.103 to 1.11+ was pretty easy, patches are rarely an issue for us, it's the latter reasoning that a hotfix won't be released, that and the development version has so many changes that going back to create a hotfix for an earlier version would be like a whole "2 steps back, 1 step forward" type deal (I'd have to redownload it myself, and then go through the old files repeating the updates already done to the 0.1.4 files, dragging and dropping doesn't really work considering all the changes in 0.1.4).

I'm pretty sure that the entire CK2 folder is around 9GB+.

Provided that you can find a site that can host that much memory without a premium membership, it'll still be more trouble than it's worth. For you and the uploader. Myself, I would like to play this mod as much as anyone here, but I have a better way of capping my bandwidth than downloading a game I already have.

That said, I have something to say to the modders of this project.

I'll have you know that in my boredom, I've just finished most of the books in my "to read" list. A week more and I'll have to move on to the couple of romance that I have just to keep my collection diverse! Pleeeeeease! The Republic of Thieves won't come out till October!

So, a couple of things have been dropped for 0.1.4, these include the planned religion titles/reformations as I want to go over religions and eliminate the "redundant" ones, of which I feel there are many. Once we've thinned the herd, I'll start looking into religion specific features for 0.1.5 or so. Another thing that was dropped is the spell system rewrite, unfortunately novacat is burnt out on modding and so that won't be done for 0.1.4. Some good news from this though, if I can work up the energy to grind through history files, 0.1.4 should be able to release within a week.

Also, thanks to the AGOT mod for the original idea, I'll be including a "Personal Interaction" type deal as a replacement for Send Gift in the mod, unashamedly using some of their code (primarily the visit chambers stuff, with credits of course) which I am sure they won't have an issue with after having had a looksy into their code for their latest release, which features a couple of bits borrowed from Elder Kings (complete with another developer's typos :rofl:, bless him) :)

Edit: And in case anyone missed it, but would like to help with the mod, there's a flag template here that can be used to create some simple flags to replace the placeholders.

I'm still planning out what I'll do to be honest, I just know I want to expand it out, always did.
I can for example create "Alliances" or "Non-Aggression Pacts" through it, although I'm not sure how much use they'd be in the mod.

The Vigil of Stendarr is the only religion that really jumped out at me as unnecessary, maybe Arden-Sul too, since I don't think you're doing the Shivering Isles, are you? The Daedric cults are, in my opinion, in dire need of flavour. I love being able to collect the daedric artifacts, but they could sure use holy sites (e.g. Garlas and Mount Kilkreath would be good ideas for the Meridia cult). Maybe the capability to develop them into fully-fledged religions like Zoroastrianism?

The Daedric Cults won't be cut, of course. Right now for 0.1.4 I've only cut the seperate aedric cults, they really weren't used anywhere and don't appear during gameplay.
