It may have been discussed already, but why is there no "Men of Akavir" race, the ones the architecture and such in the games comes from, does this mod take the whole "They are the Tsaeci" thing as canon? Because I don't believe that for a second. They existed in the starting date of the mod if I remember correctly. But again I could be wrong, regardless. I think a lot of players would like to play as them, the Tsaeci Tang Mo and Ka Po Tun are fine, and the Kamal are cool. But the Men of Akavir is what everyone gets wet over. (In my experince)

Islanders are basicly remnants/descendants of Men of Akavir. : )

Hm, I'm not really seeing that. I personally would prefer an ahistorical Akaviri race to a historical remnant/descendant race. It's a cooler concept to me to play as an enclave of the few remaining men of Akavir and retake the continent, oust the Tsaesci and conquer Tamriel riding Red Dragons than playing as some Islanders who call themselves Akaviri.

And upon observing them their naming schemes and such seem Hindu, while the other Akavir seem Asian, as should be. So they really do not seem like Akaviri, maybe make some changes to the Sun Islanders or make the Black Dragon worshipers true Akaviri?

Ah as well another suggestion, the Dunmer should be able to lift the curse and restore themselves to the Chimer somehow.

Unrelated: Why are the Ayleid characters Bosmer, and why are Dremora characters Dunmer? Trait wise, not portraits.

Pretty much everything here requires people who can make portraits, Korbah mentions from time to time that there really aren't many people working on the mod and things like race specific portraits and COA's have been pushed to one side to work on gameplay elements rather than cosmetic ones. Unless someone who knows how to make portraits comes up with a few new sets the Akavir will stay human for now. Same with Dwemer and Ayleid

Given how incredibly slow tech growth is, could you reduce the tech level required for trade post limits a bit? Atm, its incredibly unlikely for any posts to be build within a century of game start since republics need level 2 trade practices to get rid of the -100% to limit modifier. Maybe make the change to -50% be at trade practices 1 instead of two?

-Vassal and Liege events for vampires to make their lives even harder.
-Cure events.
-Vampire nightmare events.

Major
-Creating bloodlines/clans/orders and maintaining them in some way. Maybe even having titular titles for them? Hm. (its canon)http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Vampire

Will there be some option to drink in bulk? Like e.g. feasting in the vampiric drink-feast of a century, and then not feeding for some time? Or just having more reliant - and making 'ad hoc' feeding obsolete - ways to feed?

(I ask, as I imagine that feeding every 4 to 14 days would be not so much hard, as it might have been tedious; I imagine feeding during some siege - and regretfully I see a LOTS of micromanagement)

I don't know why I didn't think of this before.

I'll think about that feast idea, maybe the feast will have bigger consequences... I like that idea yeah.

ps: current feeding times are 7/14/30 days depending on how good blood is (its not actually canon, but yeah).

And make feeding on prisoners penalty-free. So if you have a dungeon stocked full of fresh sources of blood. To balance this, each time you feed on them, you risk them dying, say a plain 50% chance that they die. But they would never "out you" as a vampire due to the hypnotic powers attached to it.

Maybe have a cooldown on it to stop you bleeding them to death, keep the cattle around for longer :)

Current feeding events have a pretty high chance (%50) to kill the person actually. Imprisoned characters are a good idea, but i'm not sure about it. Maybe it can be a choice in current feeding event, which is kinda long already... Currently there is no way for your victim to run away from you. As Imprisoned Char feeding, it might be something i'll code later.

We have some mechanics implemented to grant you the ability to be just feed on lesser people and not be spotted by any of your courtiers or vassals, thats how we are adding the risk element to it. You have i think %25 chance to be spotted when you attack a courtier and %60 when you attack a vassal. You can also drink your horse's blood or a prostitute blood, both don't have any risks of spotting but they have their own problems...

Actually I believe we can tie this imprisoned char idea with feast idea. Maybe i can add a decision that will kill every single prisoner and give a blood timer accordingly. Thats a bigger possibility than doing them seperately actually.

Well that means I gotta check the ransom all prisoners decision to figure out how will i do that.

So I did some poking and found that there IS actually a Dremora trait. I'm perfectly fine with the Dremora APPEARING to be Dunmer, as long as they have the proper trait, same with Ayleids. I realize my statement might not have been so clear, I was concerned about the traits they had, not the gfx.

That came up a few pages ago, and the mod devs said that whether the graphical culture uses unique graphics or not, it still has the same drag on the speed of the mod. So to add in a duplicate for Ayleids just to give them their own trait, would be more trouble than its worth for a culture who would be more or less assimilated/mixed into Bosmeri society by this stage at any rate.

The only real way to do it would be to make the event that hands out the traits more complicated so if has graphics bosmer and culture ayleid give trait X if have graphics bosmer and not culture ayleid give trait Y.
However descendants of ayleidoon would get the bosmer trait if they had the culture which from what theyve said before isnt what theyd want to happen in the mod so all ayleids are bosmer for all it matters which is not at all. And more complicated means more chances to go wrong and not get triggered at all.

Fair enough. I thought it was just a trait that was based on the culture alone, not the gfx
