Been following for a while and everything looks like it's coming along absolutely gorgeously. My only thing is that you guys never seem to update the main page and digging through comments for new content can get a bit over-bearing at times. Modwise, the map and systems look absolutely great. I'm no expert on authenticity for the time period but everything seems about right and you have more than enough people ranting about the tiniest details to keep you in line. I wasn't expecting much when it came to portraits and I must say you guys really blew me away there. They are absolutely wonderful, though I am curious how you're going to do genealogical phenotypic traits specific to families (eg. Habsburg Jaw) as the gene pool carries on through the ages. Another question would be whether or not the Ruler Designer DLC will work with this. Otherwise, absolutely phenomenal job, keep this one up and don't you even dare think about giving up on it because you will just totally break my heart.

Unless I missed one or two, all DDs are listed in the first post, I'm not going to add every single comment one of the team members makes to the first post, sometimes it's just brainstorming, other times it might be completely wrong, the DDs on the other hand contain actual information as it stands in the mod. That said, if that's your only worry about the mod then, yay! :D

Ha, don't go overboard with making colonialism too easy.

I'm thinking of something along this route:

1 - With very high piety and prestige you get the chance to ask the Temple to construct a "castle" for you. The Temple's Patriarch needs to like you enough to give you the land. (Example: Balmora for House Hlaalu)
2 - After you control your "castle" you progressively will get new bordering land as long you have a good standing with the Patriarch and high piety.
3 - Other stuff that I'm still thinking about.
4 - Flavor Events.

Would not pure cash also work? Pay 600 gold to buy land from the Church on Vvardenfell, maybe lose some prestige. Not saying that piety and prestige should not be an alternative, but I doubt that was how most of the Great Houses got access.

If we would do it in cash, 600 is a bit too little. Building an additional holding is already 700 or more. 'Building' a holding with the added chance to add even more land after that should be at least 800.

First things first, so far this mod looks AMAZING. You guys are doing good work here :D

My only concern is the way Daedra worship seems to be forming at the moment. From what I've read (and I might be wrong) it looks like there will be a Daedra worship faith and a Malacath faith specifically for the Orcs, but the way I see it, each of the Daedric Princes would have their own subset of Daedra worship (think Catholic and Orthodox) each with a heresy casus belli on the other Daedra faiths and the ability for each heresy of Daedra worship to show up anywhere. This would reflect the fact that the Daedric princes are always trying to undermine each-others influence and it would keep Daedra worshipers from taking over Tamriel (at least not too easily)

The only major flaw I can see in this is that if they were all heresies there would need to be a mother daedra faith and I don't know what that would be. To solve this, each heresy would need to be a legitimate faith while not taking away the heresy casus bellis on each-other, which I have no idea how to do...

Anyways, just an idea that popped into my head. Either way I know i'll be playing this mod ALOT

I am sure it can be balanced somehow. Prestige loss, Vvardenfell land got several penalties, sickness and disease, that kind of stuff.

Personally I would rather money not come into land purchases from the Tribunal Temple, as paying with just Piety adds an extra dimension to a rarely-used resource.

I'd fancy having to spend both piety and money - it's the first that the families shall lack, not the second xD

I tought there were people worshipping all or number of daedras too? That one could be the main religion with daedric cults being it's heresies.

No one goes around worshipping all Daedra. The Daedra are all very petty, and want their worshippers attention for themselves only. Sharing is not going to happen. The Dunmer find a number of Daedra to be "good", but that does not mean they worship them as their gods. They have the Tribunal for that.

I generalized and grouped them as "Daedra Worship" mainly because I don't wanted Daedra followers to be separated and fight between themselves while the whole world already hates them and tries to exterminate them.

Maybe make an event for them to choose what prince to worship, then give them a trait for it?

Maybe make an event for them to choose what prince to worship, then give them a trait for it?

And maybe give them slightly better relations with those worshipping the same prince, and slightly worse with those worshipping a different one, plus give other small benefits and disadvantages maybe for worshipping each one
