needs a 4E scenario though

and its been said that the plan is to have one once everything more important has been dealt with
a time period where almost every aspect of the setting is incompatible with the mechanics is hardly a high priority when most of the eras are perfect for the game and the focus of the mod.
And this question is answered in the first post so, you know.

What era is the mod set in?
Initially we'll be releasing a 2nd era Interregnum Bookmark, however other bookmarks will be released over time depending on team willpower, for example a 4th era Stormcloak Rebellion (think, Skyrim) bookmark is in the early stages of development.

I presume that the 3350-3570 game was in a First Era game where the Reman emperors were never assassinated and the Second Era never began?

I think that was the 2E, with the Reman emperors dead for some time, and Tiber Septim eventually stepping up to unite Tamriel again.

The current "2E Interregnum" scenario is set around 2E 450 -- roughly 125 years after the collapse of the Reman Empire but 450 years before the Septim Empire.

Also we are working on a scenario called "4E Stormcloak Rebellion" which starts on the same date as Elder Scrolls V Skyrim, but it is in early stages and probably will be released a while afterwards.

You should consider adding some rebuilding events (think harrenhal in GoT mod)
Maybe we can rebuild cloud ruler temple in the 4E scenario, if the white-gold concordant is no longer in effect. This would hurt relations with all the lords of the aldmeri dominion. Just an idea, I'm sure you can come up with more interesting ones.

This is coming along wonderfully.

A question:
sometime ago you shown an image with the archipelagoes of Roscrea and Cathnoquey.
The lore says nothing about it, except they were conquered by the Empire at some point of history (during the failed invasion of the Tsaesci kingdom in Akavir, if I remember right, to use them as launching pads or something), so I guess you'll have to make up things.
Got any ideas on how to represent the inhabitants of these archipelagoes?
How they look like, their cultures, languages, if they men, mer or beasts, their government systems...?

I believe that their culture is 'Islander' in the Nedic culture group.

Their culture is Islander and they are Nords racially. This may change trough. (But I don't believe we will "invent" a new sub-race just for them)

Here is a thread about the politics of Tamriel and hierarchy of the nobility:

forums.bethsoft.com/topic/1415255-lore-question-the-empires-politics/

Thought it might be of use.

I was just reading that thread the other day!
