Are there any other important notable fixes or changes a player can make themselves to improve stability? I've deleted the Telvannirelations.txt file, but still get frequent crashes a few years after after loading a game.

What does that file do normally?

I like it. It makes money much more valuable and you have to be much more careful with your troops.

Okay, but I still think minor duchy capitals should have a second holding, otherwise it seems like the duchy capital is just arbitrary. Also, Vivec really needs more holdings.

Are the Televanni artifacts inheritable or reclaimable in any way? It certainly seems like they should be. The only other named artifact I know of is Voldenrung, and I know that isn't inheritable.

How hard would it be to give my heir any should-be--inheritable artifacts by either cheating or save game editing?

Make a trigger only event that has a give_trait = the artifact trait
Fire it through the console when you want someone to have it?
Saving editing would be harder as then its numbers and not names.

What does that file do normally?

To my understanding, it was added to represent the Telvanni's affinity for electing mages to head the House via adding opinion modifiers. Something goofed and it caused a bunch of references to the file to be made, which in turn caused the game and save game files to get really big really fast and pretty much unmanageable.

Probably not the whole story, but that's just what I've learned without really inquiring.

Does anyone know if there are specific colours assigned to the daedra anywhere in the lore?
Only i was thinking on how theyre all green so i was editing my copy so they wouldnt be but mostly its just all made up colours. I think for the Eight and Nine the colours are those of the temples in daggerfall so they were easily findable.

These are the colours so far, some are duplicated and others probably too close to existing ones [Forgot that the elves were already purple.] but not all green anyway

Someone suggested running your savefile through Notepad++ (not Notepad) and deleting all references to 'mage', but I can't vouch for its reliability or safety.

Does anyone know if there are specific colours assigned to the daedra anywhere in the lore?
Only i was thinking on how theyre all green so i was editing my copy so they wouldnt be but mostly its just all made up colours. I think for the Eight and Nine the colours are those of the temples in daggerfall so they were easily findable.

I think it depends on the Daedric realm they cme from, from Oblivion I remember the Daedra from Mehrunes Dagon's realm being mainly red and black whereas the Daedra frm Shepgoraths realm were gold and black.

That's the assumption but we won't know for sure until the "related" vanilla issue is fixed. I've done a hasty revert to 1.091 to test the mod and had a crash still after 200 years of gameplay (although I didn't revert *the mod* to 1.091, only CK2), so at this point I'm worrying that Elder Kings might be the icarus of CK2 modding.

Huh, so the bloating, slowdown and crash are a common thing it seems. A shame if you ask me, but I'm looking forward to a fix.

The savegame bloating is a mod issue and has since been fixed. The slowdown and crash, however, is a vanilla thing that we simply cannot fix on our end. The latest tests has the game crashing about 40-50 years in, with the savegame only being ~35 megabytes. Exiting CK2 and reloading does not help, as the game usually crashes about a year later.

With 1.092 the mod crashes at anywhere from 40-100 years in, with CK2 (but not the mod) downgraded to 1.091 without 4GB fix applied it lasts 200 or so years. I'm running a 1.091 with the 4GB fix applied and I'm currently 100 years in.
