if i were you id start by cleaning all the broken events and baronies being called "b_something" instead of something and same with dynasties, to make sure they are not the cause

That was done quite early in the post-release bugfixing Mika. It's in the changelog that Korba posts from time to time.

Yes, fine tuned in future versions and whatnot is great and all, and I'm looking forward to it. However, Korbah's last post said that a patch is looking unlikely until an issue is resolved. Therefore, I want to use the vanilla system now, and am lookign to see how to temporarily replace the current one.

I added a VanillaEducation sub-mod to my sub-mod list. I don't know if it works as intended trough, so let me know if anything weird comes up.

Even if this hadn't been fixed, missing localisation shouldn't cause the game to crash horribly.

Those map objects fails to load when you start the game, I don't think they are the cause. My game started ctd frequently for me after mid to late 35th century. The crashes in my case almost always happens during the 13th or the 29th with a few months apart at most which makes me belive that it must be an event or decision that is either broken or that it simply overload the game for one reason or another. Sorry that I can't be more helpful.

Edit: Two things that came to mind that could potentially cause instability could be the fact that there many titles that lack flags alltogether and the way the atmoran wasteland is presented (That it is filled with empty holdings which doesn't exist in game otherwise, rather than being counted as a wasteland).

There's also a fertility and relationship issue, especially for immortal characters. Could characters with a huge number of children be causing any kind of problem for the engine? Is there any way to remove dead children from the relationship list, or whipe them from history so to speak? It's difficult to sort out your dynasty when every interface is cluttered with dead people.

Maybe a decision that removes the parent relationship from any dead children who never had children?

Note that this was largely fixed... Immortal/Infertile characters should no longer be having children and have not had any children in testing.

Eh, is this mod good for official release yet? I want to play it, but not until is ready (I don't have much free time, so I don't want to loose any savegames due to major patches and such)

Well, the latest vanilla patch (1.092) is largely unplayable due to a memory leak issue. Mods make the issue even worse, Elder Kings in particular only goes about ~50 years before crashing. Removing Akaviri ends up pushing that up to ~100 years. I think Vanilla only goes about ~200 years before crashing.

Could be you're missing Legacy of Rome, there's a compat patch in the first post or, if you have the GamersGate version of CK2 you could get the DLC cheap now in the sale. All the other DLC is on sale for the GamersGate version right now for that matter.

Bad news by the way, there's a CTD in the mod that hit's around 3410-3450. We currently have no idea what's causing it, and until it's fixed I'm dubious on releasing a new version.
I think it may be related to the following errors in the log (since other than some localisation and vanilla errors there isn't a whole lot wrong in the mod anymore, at least that we can all spot);
[pdxmap.cpp:2076]: mapobject_13 failed to load

[pdxmap.cpp:2076]: mapobject_119 failed to load

If any body has any ideas on how to fix these, please let me know, I've tried removing entire chunks of the mod to get rid of them but they just won't disappear!

Could it have something to do with the dna or property files?

The reason I say is because I googled pdxmap.cpp and there was a link to the citadel (AGOT mod) forums with some mention of pdxmap.cpp and mapobjects failing to load.

Dont know if I'am grasping at straws but figured I'd throw it out there.

Anyways hope you get it figured out... Good luck!!!

Is this "memory leak" issue cause the slow down and savegame size to grow at the alarming rate in a few in-game months?

I was playing as some ashlander in Morrowind. All is well and then after about a hundred years, the game start to slow down so I look around and found out that my savegame file jump from some 40s MB to 120s MB!

Will counties have more built holdings in later releases? If not, it seems like "minor" duchies (ones without any extra holdings built) should have a second holding in their traditional capital. Everything's just so empty.

I like it. It makes money much more valuable and you have to be much more careful with your troops.

I've been playing for about 113 years so far without the slightest slowdown or savegame bloat. Part of this might be due to my own modding. I've fixed numerous baronies that have a shared tag in duplicate counties, which makes the game freak out.

I've been playing for about 113 years so far without the slightest slowdown or savegame bloat. Part of this might be due to my own modding. I've fixed numerous baronies that have a shared tag in duplicate counties, which makes the game freak out.

Ive mostly fixed nothing aside from localisation and portraits and ive gotten over 200 years in with no crashes except those crashes you sometimes get when cheating.
But then i have a pretty good computer and all it does is run CK2 so who knows.

With some computer games people recommend closing all other programmes and virus scanners and stuff, or atleast they did a few years back and so maybe thats something to try for people suffering slowdowns.

Did you delete TelvanniRelations.txt? It causes save games to bloat up. Testing the next patch, after two centuries, my save game is only 50 mb or so.

Is diplomacy outside your race supposed to be limited? I can't make any claims on land held by outside other races which kinda sucks because I was planning on playing as Anvil and wiping out the bosmer. There is a neighbour casus belli but I'm not really sure what triggers that because sometimes I get it and sometimes I don't. I don't get it as Direnni Hegemony (high elves) so I can't make claims on bretons, which surround me.

Code:
prestige = 100
OR = {
	trait = ambitious
	trait = ruthless
	trait = tyrant
	trait = envious
	trait = greedy
	trait = wroth
	trait = reckless
}
NOT = { trait = incapable }
NOT = { trait = infirm }
age = 16
So you have to have one of those traits, at least 100 prestige, and not be incapable or infirm, and also have to be of age.

Bad news by the way, there's a CTD in the mod that hit's around 3410-3450. We currently have no idea what's causing it, and until it's fixed I'm dubious on releasing a new version.
I think it may be related to the following errors in the log (since other than some localisation and vanilla errors there isn't a whole lot wrong in the mod anymore, at least that we can all spot);

Maybe release it anyway alongside the current version to gather more data? Is this new or old? I'm running .10a in 3443 and haven't had a crash yet (deleted TelvanniRelations.txt).
