ok, I have started to work on the Ottoman's and their vassal's borders in Europe, however I feel I am a bit constrained because I can't do the Balkans or the Caucasus yet.

ok, I did the Western Balkans and other than that the Ionian Islands and Dalmatia are owned by Venice, and all I need is the Caucausus and the Middle East for the Eastern borders of the Ottoman Empire.

No, sorry I should have been clearer in what I had in mind.

The original image is perfect.
I meant the artistic flourish was to be on the outside, possibly in the corners. I mean your image remains unchanged. Stuff is added to the outside of it.

OR

Something like this image, with your image inside this, maybe in an oval shape?

View attachment 277291

But of course this image is not large enough for the screen size, it would need to be enlarged for use.

Sorry for the bother.

That's right?

Yes, we need more tags like For the Glory (unlimited) if possible...

You are making a GREAT contribution to the mod, Thank You!

@fabfeingold Would you be able to straighten out the western United States provinces to conform with the current state borders?

Best to ask fabfeingold in the e3-FN thread, as I would not expect him to be looking here.

How will you simulate the period having only couple of main armies per nation? will you provide garrison spawns? to hold a border?

Oh, forget about darkest hour ww2. This will be something very different in all kinds of ways. I will create a 1750 world. Armies have lots of different types of sub-units, and even different types of infantry and cavalry units. But do not expect to see in the techs, something like 1748 infantry, 1752 infantry.... Units will be done in the main by events. Events will enable me to make the mod more dynamic, and not "hard-coded", I mean you follow one directly on from the previous one. This will be different.

EDIT:
I'm very concentrated on getting the map sorted, so the mod is still very much in its infancy. I have ideas and outlines in my head as to what I want to do and how to do it, but I AM very much open to ideas if you, or anyone has specialised knowledge or just good, creative ideas to make the mod interesting to play.

Ok, so, the mod will start in 1750.
I have 4 years to prepare for war
The Seven Years' War during 1754 - 1763
French Revolutionary Wars 1792 - 1802
Napoleonic Wars 1803 – 1815
There is 29 year without any global conflict. That 29 year is really long in DH engine, not like in EU2 engine.
I guess without events, it will be boring.

The mod is not a historical re-enactment. Whether these wars occur or not depends on what is happening and what choices you make. Just because it is 1754, does not mean the 7 Years War is going to start then, it may have already started, or some other war may have started. You might become the most powerful nation, or you may get wiped out in 1750?

What if i conquer the whole world before the Napoleon area, then your napoleon-events will not pop up, that is to say the napoleon-events are superfluous in this case.

Such is Life!
I could be dead tomorrow, so could you. I could finish the mod and die just as I was about the press the key to upload it ... and no-one could ever play it, and I'd sit in Heaven (?) and be frustrated that all those thousands of hours doing a map, and then a mod, and ALL those guys' contributions were for nothing... OR more realistically Paradox could again ban me and I'd have to just go off and play the sequel to Shadow of Mordor (best game EVER) instead of doing this mod. ...

But then again maybe Napoleon will be thwarted by one of his generals, and maybe that general will seek to conquer Europe, just as his friend Napoleon had hoped to do.

There can always be separate era scenarios, one being a Napoleon Era scenario for those who prefer to play that? That is why it is key that when I set up the mod, it covers a possible era from 1750 to 1914. Can be done, but just needs to be thought through and planned out.

EDIT:
Then again, maybe that is just too much, may be a better idea to have separate scenarios, smaller time frames, and more specialised. IS WHY the planning and thinking part is important.
