Ok, expansion is much faster and aggressive. Towns and Bishoprics were swallowed up immediately, and in fact were my first targets as well. I'm currently in the process of acquiring the rest of traditional Italy as well as Croatia (on accident it wasn't intentional but since I've started...) I'm a Duke who is WAY over my demense limit I'm at 25/9 if I remember correctly. Luckily I can pretty much steamroll anyone else in the area atm, so I'm planning on solidifying my position and then handing stuff out like crazy. As to the comment regarding seeing people with kingdom titles that make no sense, it's possible what happened is what I've experienced. I took the Duchies of Carinthia and Croatia but the titles remained with the holders. So I can usurp the title, but until I do they still hold it. It's entirely possible that when someone used the invasion CB and took their land away they retained the Kingdom of Austria title. If I start the game as a Catholic will I still get the free soldiers? BTW I've never received more then 500 but that's ok cause I've received them several times ;)

Also, how long do the troops keep pumping out because it's 50 years in and you could have cut them by then, especially for those counts who are under dukes/kings. For sure Dukes/Kings should not be receiving them.

Martial affects the rate of a character receiving levy, not how much he receives. If anyone thinks the MTTH is too small, I can change this immediately. There is a conquest CB because that's how it has been since the 1.06 patch, it is available to all religion groups but the Christian group. The culture conversion should be 25% if you are a pagan. I checked the event file it it has "ownder" instead of owner. I will give every province a proper character and remove towns after my one week vacation, as well as creating more pagan religions (the names and placement will be arbitrary.) If you have any problems with the flags, then try loading up only the mod and no others. Also, if you have Steam, try deleting your whole gfx/flags folder and then verify the game cache (you're pretty much just reinstalling the game). This may solve the problem.

I will upload an update tomorrow after some more feedback.

Seems fair enough. And Actually, One of my suggestions was going to be "add more Pagan Religons and buff existing ones." So I guess it works out in the end.

I don't see the point on having a conquest CB and a tribal CB at the same time. Maybe when you become a duke, you can no longer use the tribal CB and only the conquest? This would slow down superdukes from expanding due to the piety cost.

Ok, expansion is much faster and aggressive. Towns and Bishoprics were swallowed up immediately, and in fact were my first targets as well. I'm currently in the process of acquiring the rest of traditional Italy as well as Croatia (on accident it wasn't intentional but since I've started...) Unto the matter of unrealistic/out-of-place titles: Isn't this the point of the mod? To see random crazy things as this happening? I'm pretty ok with it.

On the matter of receiving levies: true. Only independant counts should receive them. Once you're a duke, or king, or vassal, you should not receive them.

On the matter of Titles Herl, I think your mixing up "Weird and Impossible realities" with "Complete Bullcrap". You see, in order to keep people interested and immersed in the experience, you need to have the AI make realistic and believable decisions, even in contexts and situations that could never Feasibly happen. For example, if for some reason the Duchy of Anatolia gained very minor holdings in Capua. Would it make more sense for them, once their ruler got the piety and money, to create the Kingdom of Anatolia, or the Kingdom of Capua? Kingdom of Anatolia, right? However, with the current AI and systems, the AI seems to favor creating the Kingdom of Capua instead. And it just ends up creating this jarring "Why?" moment which completely breaks immersion.

No Kidding as the King of Latium I'm dreading when my first apparently immortal king dies even though he's been incapable for 30 years and has gone through two sons as heirs who have both died while waiting on his royal infirmness to pass on. Most of my vassals have a spare 1k to 2k troops just sitting there and a single rebellion will be a nightmare.

I sometimes create and/or choose the title that sounds cooler to me or has the nicer looking COA even if it doesn't make sense... Am I doing complete bullcrap as well? I think this is pretty much secondary next to all the things the mod is really supposed to be about.

Basically yes. You are totally commiting history bullshit.

But don't get me wrong, I'm not saying your play style is WRONG, I'm just saying that the AI creating stupid titles could be annoying to other people.

I tried to make the AI creating Kingdom titles limited by adding a culture for them. What I figured is that the AI would create the Kingdom title that is associated with their culture. I do not expect the AI to create a Kingdom title that belongs to a realm across the map from their domain.

If you have any problems with loading the mod, try reinstalling your game.

Tomorrow night will be the last update for a whole week, so please tell me about things that need to be immediately fixed for playability.

Immediate Fixes would be limiting how long free troops pop up. If you're a vassal they should stop, if you're a Duke or above they should stop. If it's past 25 to 50 years in they should stop. There should be an event to ask if you'd like to convert to another religion at a certain water mark as a stop gap till you get your religion conversion events up and running.

Was Tech Level 1 intentional in the defines.lua? Or should it be, say, Year 50?

On the Topic of Religions, I would love to see them pop-up randomly. I wanna see a Zoroastrian Europe. I would love a Lollard Mesopotamia, a Tengri Spain or a Shia Scandinavia. We are making a new history every game, let it be as wild and outlandish as possible.
On Cities, could you buff the amount of troops they have? It would seem like they would have many untrained troops, instead of almost no troops.

But I love the mod.

Personally, I'm up for a more organized approached. I like making new histories, but I don't like it when its THAT outlandish. People want Craziness to happen, they should make it happen themselves.

Since Cultures are based on de jure Duchies, and Cultural Groups being based on de jure Kingdoms, I think the Logical progression would be to make Pagan Religons based in the de jure Empires. So we would have stuff like "Germanic Pagan" for the HRE, "Greek" or "Byzantine Pagan" for Byzantine Empire, and "Albion Pagan" for Britannia. Non Empire space should be divided up depending on the Creator's discretion. So people like me who want Milder realities can be happy, and people who want to convert everyone to the Glorious Norse Pagan Religon...

that happened in my game, tho most people went sunni or shia.

Hi guys, I'm back from the Bahamas. My scalp got sunburnt so it's flakier than it should be.

This is exactly what I was going for with the "arbitrary pagan religions". It works kind of like a step above culture group. This is going to be the next implementation which I am working on right now.
