This seems to be coming together rather nicely.
It's going well. I cringe at the thought of doing India, though.
Great job. However, I imagine India will be quite a pain.
As do I...
I for one can't wait to recreate Indo-Graecia. Fantastic!
Hey, now there's a goal!
Okay, k_perm is done. Was much faster than Rus, since there were no ancient towns to confuse Paradox in these lands, just some duplicates and a few outliers that I left in the data set. Now it's Volga Bulgaria time.
Sweet. Thanks so much, by the way. I pm'd you back, as well.
The Austrian provinces look very odd to me. Especially that one province east of (North) Tyrol. It seems to for some reason contain lands in Salzburg, Tyrol and (present day) Bavaria. I wonder what that is all about ...
Why not just re-localize the name of a barony if it doesn't comply to reasonable borders at all?
The Austrian provinces look weird because Paradox smashed them into tiny provinces on the map, and completely left large areas of the Eastern Alps out of the picture. In either case, hopefully the upcoming shot below works a little better. And I'm not going to do localization for this first release, because it's a direct Vanilla replacement. I'll work on my own changes once it's done.
For Bavaria I would suggest the territories of the Bavarian Country Participation (Bayerische Landesteilung).

I will keep this in mind for when I start to work on my own changes. Thanks!
I just came here to say that this looks like an awesome mod and it will certainly be on my list to download right away. Great work so far!
Thanks! It's quite a labor so far. Very time-intensive.
Anyways, here's another progress shot. I tried to make the French counties match both the holdings
and counties from around the mid-12th to 13th centuries. Some compromises had to be made, especially with Agen and Bourges. The Austrian counties are a little cleaner, and go partially off of Stauffen borders. I'm finding that I will have a lot of work to do when I start making my own changes. Also, this shot is cropped a bit. India and such will still be in the final version. I hope to have Germany and Scandinavia done by tomorrow.
