I would like to remove lunatic trait's smile. It gives me the creeps everytime I look at the portrait. Could anyone tell me how I could remove it?
I suspected this.
The only "problem" with CPR+ is that because of the unique graphics, you actually notice the large number of lunatics. In vanilla, you would just overlook them because they look the same as normal people.
So yeah, you are right the solution should be an adjustment of some events, which isn't inside this mod's scope.

Yeah that's not within CPR's scope for sure.
I just saw the issue been mentioned, that's why I decided to bring this up. ;)

Is there a way to remove the full plate armor? I like seeing face of characters.

Well, if you really want to disable it, portrait_properties.txt is your friend again: go to the part

(They are under "imprisoned" because these special armor types are actually applied after the regular armor.)
You can disable these by setting their initial "factor = 0", which means there is a chance of Zero that this outfit will be chosen. If you just want to disable individual ones, just put their factors to zero (you can check how each one looks by opening the graphics file \gfx\characters\shared\imprisoned.dds).
If you want to disable all of them, you might want to make sure to also set the "blank" overlay (basically really nothing, just your normal character portrait) chances to no longer account for the full armors:

Just comment out all the modifiers after that part (those are the parts that disable the "nothing" item in favor of armors).
Really, portrait_properties is the most powerful tool if you want to do quick edits to features.

Like new Orthodox priests clothing a lot. However some variations for the bishops, patriarchs and monks (as Catholics have) would be great as well.

May be some set for the Oriental Christians (Syriac, Copts etc) too.

I dont think I understood what you were saying the first time, which ethnicity were u suggesting?

so what i meant was when an asian looking character (Altaic cultures etc) character mixes with Middle-Eastern or Indian character they should look Assamese. or have possibility of having an assamese looking baby. AFAIK those mechanics already in place in CPR/Vanilla (???) when it comes to white and black character mix looks berber/middle eastern.

What are the requirements for the fancy byzantine armors ? My character is a brilliant strategist, formidable fighter, duelist with 30 martial, but doesn't have it.

I see. That what I'm missing, year is 939. I assume the great helms are unlocked after 950 aswel, am I correct ?
Too early for the great helms. Would be perfect to have them unlocked after 1200.
...and get rid from the bascinets came after 1330.
All special/cool armors become available after 950. This is a compromise measure in that sifsilver and I had somewhat different ideas about when they should be available.

We eventually settled for what we have now, so that you will see these helms when the rest of the game starts showing middle- or late-era clothes, while you will still get a chance to see all special armors during regular gameplay (based on the assumption that not too many people play beyond 1200s).
