And yeah, I'm also not a huge fan of the bundling. But then, a lot more people complained about it not being bundeled, so... Paradox can never please everyone :/
Wow finally done. New patch up on steam. Had to completely remake the front page pic.

Yeah, Theoderic is not bad - I just suspected a general problem with beards + the new faces, because this guy
definitely has his beard growing a bit from his lips, not just above and over it.
I have a beard myself (though probably not one as fluffy as greek strategos
), and beards do not grow from the lips (well, at least normally...).It might well be that the problem only is this single mustache style, but that one really needs to be positioned a few pixels higher imo. Not a big thing then and definitely in no need of immediate attention, so have fun in real life - I hear they have even more unique faces there than there are in CPRplus

That has a lot to do with mixing of Finno-Ugric and Danish/Swedish (Germanic) populations over the course of centuries, after (and a part, during) the CK2 timeline. So it makes sense that their ancestors would have dark hair.
Well, from what I read here (https://mikedashhistory.com/2015/01...dren-in-the-slave-markets-of-medieval-crimea/ - arguably it's not totally academic, but seems very well researched), "blond" Finnish people seem to have been around already during the Middle Ages, though the article is more about the later half and onwards.
Since it would be insanely hard to model a real "mixing" of ethnicities through time, I think the mod needs to settle on some middle ground: With too much blond, it might not do the early times justice, but with too little, it would not be appropriate for the later half.
I am no expert on the matter, but just personally I like blond hair, and thus would not mind seeing (a bit) more of it ^^
You are refuting my point by citing a blog post about an unrelated topic, that uses slaves in Crimea as a litmus test for what "Finnish" people looked like. But given the fact that people didn't go around asking: "what ethnicity are you", since such a construct did not exist, the idea that you can use this as evidence is rather bunk.
BUT... I don't have evidence of my own at the moment which I can produce, except for common sense given that Finno-Ugric people are not Indo-European. And it is Indo-Europeans that are blonde and blue eyed (as we can see from their descendents in Central Asia). This is not true of Finno-Ugric people however whose ancestors don't have such characteristics.
So have blonde hair if you want to represent intermixing, but make it a rarity. Or make it only so if you marry someone who is blonde (if that is possible).

I didn't refute your point at all. All I was saying is that the article I quoted said that there were slaves originating from raids into Finnish territory that were blond during the later part of the Middle Ages.
This does not contradict your point at all: The blond hair might at this point have already stemmed from intermixing, and doesn't prove that the original Finnish population did have blond hair - which is something I never claimed.
However, I was suggesting that blond should still be represented in the population, even though it might be inappropriate for the time before the intermixing - because after the intermixing, it would be appropriate. Because dynamically adjusting hair colour is not possible.
That, however, is interesting, and would refute your point, but we also don't have any hard evidence on this yet
Anyway, I didn't want to kick off a discussion about ethnicities and DNA-evidence, since these discussions tend to get hairy very fast, and we might end up spamming this thread with it...

I'm not in a position to test things, nor do I have access to steam. Could you do me a favor and take a screenshot of the gfx files in that mod if they aren't in too many different folders. My theory is that cprplus and this mod don't edit the same gfx files and thus it doesn't matter where you put it in load order.

I just checked out the mod, and since it only replaces graphic files that CPRplus doesn't modify, you can safely use the mod!
