The most fun I've had with CK2 is with a combination of this and the Rise of Empires mod. Pretty cool watching the Christian kingdom of Normandy battle it out with the Muslim kingdom of Burgundy.

THIS!!!
okay, I haven't tried it yet, but, the mere concept is awesome.
of course, damn ahistorical, but it's a game :D

Of all the mods I have seen in the master mod list, this one stands out to me the most. Might be a noob question but how do I get this to work for the STEAM version and how do I make it so I can play this or vanilla seamlessly?

Thank you, this is exactly what I've been waiting for. The only other one I could find was where everyone started as a OPM with no claims... This'll work for a faster start and maybe the AI will be able to form kingdoms faster too.

I'm glad you're all enjoying the mod.

Assuming you've put the mod in the CK2 mod folder, you'll then need to use the CK2 launcher (ck2.exe) to run the game with the mod, not run it through Steam.

great mod. Only problem i see is that the Shia caliphate and Sunni Caliphates still randomly form and then go curb stomping italy and greece/asia minor? But I love this mod. Good for a great start for brythian without being curb stomped by france or england

While this really doesn't affect the point of the mod, on the 16th the kingdom of abbysinia goes to a non-existent character instead of the duke of gondar. you put in 35531 instead of 32231.
