It becomes a vassal by event when Derfel inherits it, and then becomes free when he dies, as far as I'm aware.

Became the High King of Britannia. Had a blast.
Then... on my fourth succession, my successor was considered "bad" and I got a nice little event. The whole freaking realm broke apart and that just killed my enjoyment right away. I raged hard. Otherwise, this was pretty fun.
Ridiculously enjoyable, though sadly I can't save Powys as my manpower is currently about 5. That said, if I retake the lands that make up Lancaester, is it possible to reverse the decision, or at least add those lands back into Britannia?
Sorry to be a pain and its probably something stupid and small i've done something wrong, but whenever i go into an actual game i start the time and events come up with no objects on them if you know what i mean or the game just crashes
By the way Luca, what happens to Hen Ogledd and Cymru when you start reconquering? Do they stay or do they merge back into Britannia?
Any word on when today .97 will be up?
I'd hazard a guess that Derfel's descendants and their feudal titles will, but the Wolftails will not.
Quick question, if I reconquer the lands that Anglia and Cantia occupy as Romano-Briton or as a Briton, am I able to establish 2 new kingdoms or will it become de jure part of my kingdom?
Cantia becomes the Vassal Kingdom of Cantauria (duke level) and part of the Kingdom of Dumnonia. Anglia becomes either 2 or 3 high lordships as part of the new Kingdom of Icenia. The best way to make Icenia is to install Derfel Cadarn there, it instantly makes the change.
