I know this is annoying but do you guys have a estimate for your next update? I really want to play the mod with learning reimplemented.

Thank you also are you planning on adding anymore major features in the near future? The plan is to release a new version when the new CK2 patch comes out, which granted, is taking a lot longer than I had thought it would. But the new patch is supposed to fix our CTD, so I'm still waiting on that.
In the meantime, if you want to play the version with learning restored by Achab and some map fixes by JonStryker, here is our current dev version:

It's entirely untested, by me at least, but I assume Achab and Jonstryker know their stuffIf you have any bugs/questions/comments about this version please let me know - also let me know if you still get the CTDs in this version. Jonstryker didn't, after his map fixes, but Achab and I did.
Thank you also are you planning on adding anymore major features in the near future?
edit: some of the traits ie: the priest traits need to have learning reimplemented and some of the oceans are still called ocean b and such, also there is this weird sea tile that's somehow landView attachment 191399 (looks like there are several of these throughout the map)
Mostly playable without severe bugs, though irritatingly many of the immortal creatures die "in battle" from the legendary quest decision, adventuring, or from a natural death early on.
- Gorgon died "in battle".
- Seadrake died a natural death.
- Karl and his pet kraken are doing okay as of 1531.
- Raven died "in battle".
- The Ghoul is a gnoll?
- Serpent died "in battle".
- Succubus died "in battle".
And so on.. none of these were duels as far as I can tell. Just random death chance events, presumably related to adventures/quests.
Edit: Also worth noting the advisor minor title does not currently work in terms of putting a character on the council, it just acts like a normal minor title. Also, the humble trait grants prestige instead of regency.
Then why does the description of humble specifically say it gives regency instead of prestige?![]()
Not sure, could be a localisation issue where we changed piety to regency and it affects trait descriptions as well? But I did go through all traits at some point and make sure that the piety ones were changed to prestige, since only the bloodline traits themselves should give regency.
How are the CTDs in the version I posted above, btw? Same as in the other version?
I got about 30-40 years in pretty steadily on a few games before I got hit hard by consistent CTDs. Could be worse, but only being able to play for 40 years isn't ideal..
Try removing the common/cb_types file, see if you can get it past the consistent CTD. Then put them back in and restart.
But yeah, still waiting on that new patch which supposedly fixes it. Any day now...
Honestly can't wait for the new patch and the chance to play this again!
I'll try to compatch it as soon as possible, and test for CTDs shortly after. The good news is that thanks to @DarkReborn from the Warhammer mod, I learned how to use a new debug tool that is VERY helpful in finding the cause of CTDs so the new version should be very stable. I used it when fixing up the Middle-Earth Project recently, and there hasn't been a single reported CTD since we released the hotfix, even for people playing 300 years![]()
Nuuuuu! D: Ask Captain Gars?I've got good news and bad news.
The good news is that compatching for 2.6 is really easy and almost done.
The bad news is that that really annoying hardcoded CTD (due to province numbers being out of order or some such) is not fixed as we were hoping/expecting it to be in this new patch![]()
Didn't he leave Paradox?Nuuuuu! D: Ask Captain Gars?
