This... is the greatest mod I have ever seen... I loved Game of Thrones, Charlemagne, and a lot of others, but this, sir or madam, is truly awe inspiring! When can he hope/expect for this to be ready?

Shouldnt be too much longer. I just finished putting down all the titles for North America. For now I might just make US, mexico, cuba and canada as the initial beta mod to cut down on time. Then later ill add in our central and south american friends.

He will be in, not sure where to start the scientologist heresy at, since the west coast is not on the map. However, there will be an amish culture in Pennsylvania

If you're going for stereotype and irreverent, irrelevent humor, then people of the democrat faith should get a positive tax modifier, while people of the Republican faith should be able to raise more troops (what with all the guns.)

need some feedback...

since this is an american satire, I was going to add europe as a small island with 5 counties (london, wine, ancient rome, communists and unplayable sweden) But I dont want to turn this mod into a gimmicky comedy so I left it out for now. I want to focus it as more of a political satire

I will have the religions be the politcal parties...Republican, Democrat and Libertarian with the leaders being Santorum, Obama and Ron Paul. I know where most states are republican and democrat, but where the hell should I put libertarians? My only thought would be new england since they are the "most" libertarian. Also, since Im not familiar with canadian politics, need some help as to what to do with them

Maybe put Europe in the Caribbean. That big thing south of Texas is the Caribbean Bay (or was it the Gulf of Pigs), right? I reckon it ain't much smaller than that pond them lobstercoats talk about. And as I hear, they're all a bunch of effeminate socialist cowards, so make sure ya reflect that in the game.

Breaking out of full eagle mode, I second the Hajj to the Reagan Library, as well as the Tea Party Republican heresy. Might I also suggest naming the former Muslim religious group as the Conservative group, and adding in Libertarianism as another religion proper within the group? Barring arguments about the nature of Libertarianism, in America it is generally grouped with the right.

As for Canada, perhaps Socialism should be included as a religion in the Liberal/Democrat religious group, and applied to the entire country.

yes tea party will be a heresy and I kept libertarian as a seperate "religion" and allowed all 3 crusades for more fighting. Ill make socialists apart of the democrat group since the republicans have much more land so far

As a Canadian I think Canada should be Socialist, if this is supposed to be stereotypes from an American perspective. You could have the two religions be Right wing and Left wing with Libertarianism and Republicans in the Right and Democrats and Socialism on the Left.

Yep, not sure how that "just" trait got in there though...Ron paul is a good one as well, hes got "genius" and "lunatic"

thats actually the hardest part about doing this, is trying to balance between playable and gimmicky. It'll be more of a american political satire than a joke mod

EDIT...on a side note, Ive run into a problem. I cant seem to make Obama the right skin color without changing the entire culture. Is there any way to change a character's skin color without changing their culture?

good idea, what about culture stereotypes? Canada was a little more difficult making titles for because the provinces are so damn huge. But I split kingdom of ontario into two big duchies, southern and northern. Kingdom of Quebec has a few as well (quebec, gaspe, cote nord, nord-du-quebec and saguenay. Kingdom of atlantic canada has new brunswick, nova scotia and prince edward. then newfoundland and labrador as its own kingdom
