It's now 1090 in a game with Cultural Cities enabled............and............ 0 issues. I honestly don't know what's causing the issue for some people... so unless someone can figure it out I don't know what to do about it given I can't even replicate the issue at all. :mad:

As a sidenote I don't think I'll be able to finish 6c tonight given I got sidetracked. :blush: I'll try, but I'm already falling asleep hehehe.

Try downloading your own mod and using it from the filehost. Maybe you made a mistake when packing it for release that you can't replicate because you have different files.

I think I'll try something else. I'm going to release the version I use now as 6c, the version that I have 0 issues with after a lot of testing... granted the version itself does a bad job of implementing the Alans and Andalusians but it has 0 issues for me, maybe it will have 0 for others as well.

POSTED 6C - this is the version I have 0 issues with... I doubt it will help people having issues, but hey hope springs eternal. :blush: My laptop is currently forging ahead at max game speed using this very version and it has no issues I can see... I don't understand what's going wrong for some people. :blush:

I still can't replicate the issue...anyone else getting it?

I've been implementing a version of BLC that will work without the Mongol DLC.

My solutions for the Altaic group and Alans are as follows:
-It will use a new cuman clothes/headgear set based on Crackd's Cumans and on vanilla muslim clothes + some editing. Will use this for those cultures using mongol gfx headgear/clothes.
-It will use my Andalusian/Persian skins for dna looks for cumans/pechenegs/alans. I am unsure what to use for Mongols and Turks, maybe the Levantine skin.
-On females - I am unsure what to do... I might make a new clothes set using muslim + Crackd's female clothes and headgear, and maybe use his female skins.

How do you feel about requiring a DLC to play your mod? I would say that the mod requires Mongol portraits and be done with it. You could authorize someone to do a conversion if they wanted, but your limited time should be dedicated to improving upon what you have done.

I am saying this not to be a troll but to suggest a best modding practice that says that you require a certain official expansion.

I'm going to release this ONE TIME only Mongol DLC less version of the mod, and what I'm going to do is add a folder in interface containing the relevant Mongol-less DLC code so people without the Mongol DLC can use that over in their files in the future if they are so inclined. I'm also going to post an instructions file so they know what they need to do to convert future versions of BLC into DLC-free versions if they are so inclined.

Implementing stuff for the mongol DLC-less version is taking longer than anticipated, because I keep noticing layer issues - like here look under the hat:

I've been editing the new sets since last night, they're going to be a combination of Crackd's stuff with some muslim stuff edited/modified so it all works together. I've removed some of Crackd's stuff that I actually like specificaly because I don't want to deal with future comments along the lines of "omg why is that in" -for stuff like the cowboy style hats for example. :(

I've implemented a 6D Mongol DLC free version, testing it now. It's not perfect but it should do. If I don't notice any issues I will release it soon alongside the standard 6D that will implement some stuff.

Sadly I'm experiencing problems with the DLC less version, there's one particular crash I need to fix... This will take longer than anticipated. :angry:

VERSION 6D and VERSION 6D NO DLC POSTED!

-Implemented a lot of CrackdToothGrin's work to make Altaics work without mongol dlc...
-2 versions, the 2nd is a mongol dlc free version, should display properly without the dlc.
-you'll find a file with instructions on how to do a quickjob of editing future versions to work without the mongol dlc.

PLEASE report any bugs!

Now that 6D versions are released, I have started work on version 7.
Version 7 will most likely feature
-tweaks/improvements/additions across the board
-differentiated clothes/headgear for Turks/Bedouins/Egyptians

Awaiting further suggestions.

Good luck! Doesn't happen all the time. I just tested it with another duke's spymaster and he stayed in his usual and atmospheric dark hoodie.

Myeah, I'm gonna upload some slightly modified files...sadly mediafire refuses to let me upload...sigh. The issue is not 100% fixed, it happens when someone should be wearing the martial outfit that overules the spymaster gear... Once mediafire lets me I'll post the files.
