I don't know if the author of this mod intends to continue on with this mod.

However since I was dabbling in this very issue a few months ago I had some previous experience and event knowledge. (albeit limited at best)

I have retooled some of this mod to make it compatible with 1.07 and added some personal stuff and code I had laying around.

- Cult of War is in the zoroastrian group. Should fix the mongol invasion bug or something (unconfirmed, never played that far)
- Cult of War members use casus belli's like muslims do. (3 main ones are; conquest; holy war; invasion; but there are more!)
- Cult of War members can have 4 wives (was thinking 11, a whole soccer team, but that turned unruly quite quickly)
- Cult of war head of religion is named ''Oracle of War'' (a unisexual form of adress)
- Cult of War head of religion can be appointed at leisure and is automaticly a vassal. (I like making my wife(s) pope)
- Cult of War head of religion can grant divorces, claims, invasions, crusades, excomunications, the whole shabang. (she'll even grant you your own divorce without having to split half your empire)
- Cult of War has special building with experienced cavalry

- Reworked immortality system
- Immortality can be granted/revoked through minor titles
- Children born from immortal parents receive the premature immortal trait
- Children who survive to adulthood at 16 years will turn fully immortal
- Premature immortals only covers age and disease. You can still be hacked and chopped to pieces through plots or whatnot.
- Mature immortals do not die in battle, rabble or of hashashin.
- Mature immortals have wolverine regenerative powers, they regrow arms and recover from incapacitation and other nasties. They still suffer from mental retardation tho.
- No sieges for the god of war, he's on a schedule. Settlements will just fall before his might.

WIP
- Mature immortals REALLY don't die by plot, assasination, execution(?), revenge, duels or just by accident...etc
- Finding interesting ways to solve issues such as getting imprisoned, dueling, assasinations and other events which would fail if the character was immortal.
- Creating original event chains and scripts for handling immortality, the regrowth of lost limbs and the issues surrounding a total badass god-king's life.

Maybe these things can give the author some inspiration...I'm curious what other people would like to see.

Could you release this work?

I could, but it is really crude at the moment and I don't want to steal the original authors work or ideas really... and releasing a mod made of parts of his own and advertising it on his page is a bit too much for me. But if you really MUST have the code, just private message me.

I have a week off starting today due to a fall vacation. I'll try and polish up the mod a bit, clean up the code a bit better, add proper modifiers and other small stuff.

I'll try and patch up that WIP I had listed before.

But some more important things for the mod in general would be to know what people are expecting. Do they want an ultra GOD KING which annihilates everything in its path or do they want immortals who still suffer from the toils of life and court. Do immortals get hurt? How fast do they recover? Can they be killed? How can they be killed? And it's probably a bit of fun to have some events like dueling where the enemy stabs your character and he's like ''sup bro?''.

As long as there is no chance you get staked, walled in or buried alive this sounds like a lame mappainting mod.

My thoughts exactly.

That's why I was thinking of spicing it up a bit with introducing real issues concerning immortality. And I am also questioning how far I should take immortality to mean indestructible.

I really think there should be an option that if you get beaten, they chop you up into tiny little bits and you die.

Alright I cave xD

this is my pre alpha

I'm experimenting with using other balance mods at the moment and trying to come up with original ways how I am going to continue this mod.

This module is 1.07b compatible,

it includes everything i previously mentioned except for the wip's.

Other things added are some things from SoH (all thanks go to him for his suggestions on berber culture and his ethiopian survival tips)

- berber culture in western africa, balances out spain in favour of christians better.
- miaphisites can't be warred by muslims conventionaly.
- varangians and mamelukes are not vassals. (weaker fatimids and byzantines)
- miscellaneous changes to localisation and minor things
- Special building for immortal gods capital
- Special Retinue for immortals (due to combat mechanics it is impossible to literaly make them immortal, they are just INCREDIBLY TOUGH)

- Heavily toned down the overpowered command modifiers of immortals, yes u are immortal, but ur army is NOT, atleast I hope to god ur not handing out immortality like its some barony title...(if you want an easy victory, hire a horse_archer mercenary band and lead with your immortal, garantueed victory:laugh:)
- Don't worry, immortals dont get caught in battle so much...on the other hand, they love capturing ur enemies xD 10x more likely to capture enemy commanders.

p.s

there is a custom made character in eastern europe (mansia), he is a bit overpowered and has a sweet ass wife too bang with. If you want to dabble in divine dynasties you can do so with him without having to mod anything else. Oh yeah and you can have 11 wifes now, for those who want a full soccer team :p

delete the provinces mansia and surgut from the history/titles if you don't want these extra characters in the game.

And last of all,

use the decision Immortal Soul in the decisions tab, to turn your zero into a hero.
