So, i've had a lot of fun with this mod, but i've come across a major problem.

Because you are immortal and cant die, you pretty much cant use marriges to get new lands.
I've been thinking about creating an event that pretty much spawns a copy of your current ruler, aged 16, when you die.

Do any of you have any idea, how to go about that? I'm sadly completly unsavy in this kind of thing.

I don't really think that this is an issue. If you're immortal, you're either pretty much the ultimate badass and so you should rather conquer than inherit or you just decided that you just don't care much about this kind of stuff.

Are immortal females always fertile?
Also, an observer god trait would be good. It would be like the god of war, but no one could declare war on you and you couldn't declare war. It would also be genetic and have a culture that uses the names from every list.

Great mod and I like the whole idea of creating a religion that worships you and the fact you're generally the ultimate badass who can sweep aside armies with ease. Have you considered including graphics for your character so they look even more badass? Such as a suit of armor or a mask to cover the face?

Is there any way to add the immortal and religious traits to existing mods like CK2 or Balance? Do I copy/paste the traits I need into those mods? How would I know which ones are unlikely to conflict?

I notice that for special buildings, they tend to be tied to religious groups rather than specific religions ("religion_group = christian", for instance). How would I set it to just the specific war_pagan religion?

I found a typo/bug: In war_god_title.txt "creation_requires_capital = no" is misspelled as "creation_requires_captial = no".

PS, I liked the bug where sometimes NPCs could be born immortal. It adds a little bit of flavor to not be the only one who's immortal all the time.
In fact this mod would be a bit cooler I think if there were an option for some balance - with even immortal war gods dying in battle albeit very rarely, and bonuses that while huge are not so excessively huge (see below for what I did), and a more difficult event chain to get to these statuses - at least with a martial threshold for God of War, and perhaps make it an event rather than decision. And maybe born immortal should be only through birth, not decision, and made immortal should cost money and piety.

God of War's stats under my version:
Code:
	fertility = -0.10
	immortal = yes
	diplomacy = 10
	martial = 10
	stewardship = 10
	intrigue = 10
	learning = 10
	command_modifier = {
		light_infantry = 1.0
		heavy_infantry = 1.0
		cavalry = 1.0
		morale_offence = 1.0
		morale_defence = 1.0
		defence = 1.0
		speed = 0.1
		damage = 1.0
		pursue = 1.0

Altered "made immortal":
Code:
		allow = {
			ai = no
			is_ruler = yes
			wealth = 500
		}
		effect = {
			add_trait = immortal_gain
			piety = -500
			wealth = -500
			prestige = 100
		}

EDIT:
Oh, I should have read the thread, this general idea is already planned.
At ver2 I will be redoing a few things. It will resemble a overhaul mod of Van/SoI. The main focus will be on the living god aspect present with the God of War trait. But instead of one type of god there will be many similar to the old Greek and Pagan gods, each representing different archetypes. The ability to become a living god will no longer be as simple as clicking a decision. You will have to complete certain requirements and challenges to gain a place among the gods. You would be able to either wed another god and produce smaller gods or you can lay with mortals and produce Demigods, long-lived super humans mostly immune to the harsh world around them. You will be able to wage war against other gods personally or convince your human followers to attack the followers of other gods. And, other godly stuff will be included.
Probably an efficient way to do this would be to make one "god" trait and then do the specific focus as "domain" or "purview" traits - ones that pertain to the specific thing that the character is a god of. Then you could trigger the stuff for individual religions off of the domain traits, but general god-related code would work fine for all gods. Plus it might be possible to have characters who were god of more than one thing. I don't know how to do the religions though, besides having a separate empire and religion for each domain, which means if a god got multiple domains they'd still only get one empire title and the religion might not reflect all their divine attributes.

And reading further it seems Battosai is gone. Ah well. Maybe I'll pick this project up, if I can scrape together the time.
